    Clawpaw weezed,his eyes watering,snout open in desperate gasps.
    I think...I think it's my time to die he thought.
    His body trembled with cold,yet sweat was pouring of him.


    "Is he okay?"
    Rosepaw looked at her brother,eyes full of sadness.

    Rivercloud shot a glance back to the corner of the cave where the sick apprentice was. Her heart plummeted down (?) and her eyes widened.
    Firetail seemed to read her thoughts. She called for the medicine cats and quickly jumped to her paws.


    "Tanglepaw! Eagletalon, come quick!"


    The moon rose high in the sky, a layer of clouds covering it. Rain tumbled into the world, but they were all safe from the splattering drops.

    ic} Tanglepaw raced over to Clawpaw, and crouched over the apprentice. He grabbed the catmint from earlier, and put it infront of Clawpaw's mouth. "This is catmint. It tastes good, trust me. Just eat it, and we will try to help you the best we can."

    Oneflight sat beside Clawpaw, lightly brushing her tail down his spine. "StarClan, please help him. He has been through so much! Must he come to you now... right before the journy?" the medicine cat apprentice sent a silent prayer to StarClan, hoping they would help.

    Hawkwing turned to look at Clawpaw. This is bad...I hope he gets better...I hope it doesn't spread to any other cats either... He thought.

    okay, Silversun. Healthy enough so he can travel I guess.

    Moonstar's tail drooped. Oh Starclan, don't take the young one yet. The medicine cats needed space so she and Rivercloud both ushered back a few onlookers.


    Owl smiled disappeared and he looked at Cliffheart with sadness. 'Sorry' he mouthed. The loner tom stepped over to assist Tanglepaw, since that was his duty that Dewstar gave him.

    Lionsoul was aroused from sleep, and realized his ultimate hunger. "Dewstar," he meowed. "We should hunt." he suggested, then a big rumble from his stomach sounded. Blushing with embarrassment, he shook out his thick fur

    Clawpaw wheezed,refusing to eat the catmint,as he felt he couldn't chew anything.


    "What's happening to him?" Rosepaw squeaked.

    ooc} OMG! I am so annoyed... I was testing stuff, and I accidentally deleted my old ultimiate profil customized code thingy... D:< I had to re-do it ALL over again! And I had dotted borders, a certain text, and everything! TOOK ME FOREVER! (Yesh, I know how to do all that stuff now. x])


    ic} Oneflight frowned at Clawpaw, and looked at Rosepaw, still stroking Clawpaw's spine. "He has blackcough...," she finally meowed, after a moment of deciding whether to tell her or not.

    Tanglepaw sighed, laying his ears back. "Can you swallow, Clawpaw? Just nodd if you can."

    "Rosepaw," Owl soothed in his quiet tone. "Calm down." He looked deep into the apprentice's eyes, hoping she'd understand the real meaning. Clawpaw was in Starclan's paws now. It seemed like there was nothing they could do. But everyone hoped he'd be okay.


    Moonstar sighed, turning to the other cats scattered out behind her. "Firetail, Solarpelt, Cascadewish, do you three mind going hunting with me? Lionsoul's right, the prey won't just come to us. We have mouths to feed." Though most of the prey was probably in their dens. Regardless, they should at least try.


    Rivercloud paced a little, then settled down in a corner, fur pressed against cold stone.


    Firetail nodded vigorously. The rain seemed to have eased down to a drizzle. The older she-cat wanted to stretch her legs and settled down to a nice plump sparrow.

    "Then can I go hunting too?" Rosepaw whispered."I can't stand to see my brother like that."


    Clawpaw gave a loud cough,a ball of sticky spit coming out of him.

    Cascadewish nodded. "Of course." he meowed, and padded over to Moonstar

    ooc} That would be sad.. but a great plot, if you think about it.


    ic} Fawnbolt padded up to Moonstar. "I'll hunt too. I still can,... for now," the queen meowed, bowing her head to the BlizzardClan leader.

    Tanglepaw sighed and bent his head. If Clawpaw couldn't at least swallow the catmint, there was nothing he could do.

    Oneflight looked at Eagletalon, and her tail stopped stroking Clawpaw for a moment.

    "Yes. Go on." Owl nodded to her, blinked then turned around to face Clawpaw. A slob of wet moss and various herbs that wouldn't do any good lay around his nest. "Can you drink any?" Owl nosed it forward to the edge of the apprentice's nest.


    "Yes, Rosepaw, Fawnbolt, you two may come along as well." Moonstar waved her tail, a sign to follow, and stepped over to the rocky slope which led down to the river. She paused there, waiting for the rest to catch up then let the Mountainclanners lead. It was their territory, they knew it better than anyone.


    Solarpelt leaped to her paws and trotted out of The Caves.


    Firetail quickened her pace and ended up beside her leader.
