Jayheart is looking for a mate! (she-cats only)

Smoke sighed. "I don't know of any cat like that..." She said quietly.

Smoke looked away. "Most of my tribal members loathe clan cats, ever since a clan took our original territory, this cave is not perminant...." She said, pain and grief clouding her eyes as she remembered the day it happened.

Smoke looked stunned. "Me? You don't think I would be like the others too?" She said.

Smoke looked into Jay's eyes and her heart skipped a beat. She suddenly found herself feeling closer to this tom, closer to any cat before. "I... I don't know what to say..." She said quietly and then puffed out her chest. "Yes, I will be her teacher." Smoke said proudly.

Smoke narrowed her eyes, thinking for a moment. "Can I show you something?" She asked softly.

Smoke nodded and flicked her tail, beckoning him to follow.

She lead him through the snowy white forest to another cave. She stood at the mouth of the cave. "Do you trust me?" She asked.

Smoke nodded and lead him inside. It was pitch black... Smoke gently put her tail on his flank. "Stay next to me..." She whispered and lead him through the dark tunnel. It started to become lighter and it seemed as though it was daylight. Instead it was a deep crystal pool in the middle of the cave. Smoke sat down. "My mother called this place the wish pool, she showed it to me when I was a kit..." Smoke said quietly.

Smoke looked at Jay and then back at the crystal blue pool. "She said that if you look in its water you see whom you love standing next to you..." Smoke looked away. "When my mother died I used to come here every day, just to see her standing beside me...."
