Lalita rubbed a hand over Suri's head, "What's wrong?"
-
Suri shifted in Sydney's arms, trying to get away, she was shaking and seemed very scared
-
Sydney looked at Suri concerned. "Lalita, do you know whats going on?" she asked her sister while trying to comfort Suri.
-
She kept struggling to get down, tears rolling down her rosy cheeks
-
Sydney suddenly had an idea, and she set Suri down.
-
Suri crawled under a chair and hid
-
"Maybe she's scared of the rain." Lalita said.
-
"Maybe....." she said. She remembered from ealier the chair where she couldn't fit her arms through to grab Suri. "Or maybe......" she said, and got up. She went to the window and looked outside. She couldn't see anything, it was pitch dark. The rain was falling down hard. Suddenly, a flash of lightening light up the sky. Sydney screamed, and backed away from the window. She had seen a mans face.
-
"Mommy!!!" Suri screamed,
-
Lalita yelped as he began to cry, "It has to start thundering and lightning."
-
Sydney backed farther away from the window, then ran over to the chair where suri was and knocked it over and grabbed Suri, and held her tightly. "Lalita, call 911!" she said.
-
Suri quickly clung to Sydney like Velcro as she cried, closing her eyes, afraid
-
Lalita sat on the couch clutching him as she sttared at her sister.
-
"Lalita!!!! Call the damn police!!!" she yelled, fear splayed across her face.
-
She winced from the yelling and continued to cry
-
Lalita just stared at her, unmoving. He began to cry softly as he clung to her.
-
Sydney sighed, and went ond got the phone herself and dialed 911. "Hello, yes......the guy on tv, who escaped from prison or some shit place, yeah i just saw him........yes, there are two babies in the house.........yes, thank you." she hung up.
-
Suri screamed as the door slammed open
-
Sydney screamed, and held Suri tightly. She put her back up against the wall, and peekd around the corner.
