    he shrugged. ''well, i don't know. its quite here. that why i liked it so much as a foal. it was me and Luna, both of our mothers abandon us. at least thats what we think. we don't really remember. but we would walk around following a herd. and they found us and we joined them. so it is kind of like your story i guess.'' he said as the memories surfaced.

    Star woke up. she looked around. where is uncle Hunter? she thought. she got up quietly so no one would hear her leave. she walked into the dark woods.


    Luna slept.


    Star giggled quietly as she walked deeper into the woods. she giggled quietly, but just loud enough for her not hear howls of wolves.



    Hunter looked down. ''i'm sorry...''

    Hunter's ear perked up to. ''yes, so do i. i would say stay here, but the herd should probably be told.''


    Star stopped when she herd something move behind her. she turned and neighed loudly.


    Luna was still asleep.

    Hunter quickly caught up with Secret. ''Star!'' he called.


    a wolf snapped at Star. it JUST missed her leg. she turned around and ran as fast as she could.


    Luna snored softly, oblivious to what was happening.

    he looked at her with worry. ''ok, fine. just, PLEASE be careful.'' he said, not wanting her to get hurt or worse.


    Star Neighed loudly as another wolf appeared.

    he rolled his eyes and laughed, but that was soon gone when he heard Star neigh. he bolted off for the herd. the faster he told them, the faster he could help Secret.


    Star began to get tried, but she continued to run.

    Secret ran and kicked one of the wolves right in the head. The other one was trying to catch Star. Secret bolted after it. She easily caught up. She stepped on it's tail it yelp in pain. It went for Secrets legs but she kicked it off finally it had enough it jumped up and bit Secret though her neck. She shook it off and kicked it hard. The wolves where badly injured and went back to there den but by then Secret lost to much blood and fell into a deep faint.

    he alerted the herd and galloped as fast as he could into the woods. he found tracks and followed them. he soon found the frightened Star and Secret passed out. he got Secret onto his back and carried her back to the herd. Star followed close behind.


    no one woke Luna up. she was still asleep.


    star ran to her mother and woke her up. she didn't tell her mom what had happened. and she didn't want any one to tell her.


    he gently put Secret on the ground and began to tend to her wound.

    ''Secret? are you ok? i told you to be careful...'' he was really worried about her. he finished wrapping the wound with leaves that speed healing.
