When Cheshirekit answered like this, Evergladestar began to panic, "FORGIVENPAST! Forgivenpast!" Her voice starting to turn into a frightened shriek, hoping that what she thought was going on with Cheshirekit, wasn't actually what was happening. She knew that if anyone would know, it would be her mate.

"FORGIVENPAST!" Evergladestar continued to scream his name over and over, looking at Cheshirekit. Maybe it was just a nightmare, and she would wake up and everything would be fine. Cheshirekit would be there, looking at her with his open, blue eyes, taking in everything around him. Frantically looking around here, she impatiently waited for Forgivenpast to come. Usually she would just go over to him and bring him back, but in this circumstance, she wanted to just stay here with her son. This isn't really happening, this isn't really happening... She began to repeat this over and over in her head, almost starting to sound like a chant.

"B@stard..." Evergladestar muttered, keeping it at the right volume for Cheshirekit to not be able to hear it, "Cheshirekit, we're just going to take a little walk to daddy, okay?" Resting her tail on Cheshirekits shoulder, she began to walk towards the medicine cat den. She desperately wanted to know what was going on with Cheshirekit, and if her mate wasn't going to come to tell her about it, she was going to come to him, and make Forgivenpast tell her what was going on with him. At the moment she didn't care who was listening, she just wanted to know what was going on with her son. Their son.

Evergladestar came to the Medicine Cat den, "So have you gone deaf? I've been screaming your name for who knows how long, and it seems that you're the only cat who didn't hear." Inside she was fuming, and she was trying to keep it from coming out. She didn't want Cheshirekit to hear her start screaming at his father. It wouldn't be the best thing for the young kit to hear at his age. Looking at her mate, she tried to stay semi-calm, not wanting Forgivenpast to think that she wasn't angry at him for ignoring her.

Evergladestar glared at him for a second and then stopped. "Cheshirekit says that when he opens his eyes, all he can see is black and darkness. Is he...?" She left the question hanging in the air, wondering if she really wanted to know the answer. In a perfect world, the answer would be no, they would all let out a sigh of relief, and then Cheshirekit would open his eyes and see the beautiful world waiting for him. This was reality though, and although she asked Forgivenpast on what he thought was the problem, she was pretty sure she already knew the answer. What she needed was the one hundred percent certainty about it, almost in a way like closure, but she knew it wasn't the end, it was only the beginning of the journey.

"I don't know...Five? I could definitely feel it, but it didn't really hurt at all. Why? Is that good thing? Or is it a bad thing? Why am I even here? WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!" Cheshirekit wanted to know what was going on, especially since it seemed to be about him. Maybe it was something to do about the fact that he could only see darkness. At this moment, he really wanted to see both of his parents' face, because maybe if he could, he might be able to piece together what was happening.
