"The scent has gone," Screchpaw meowed urgently.
"What?" Duskpaw sat up. "Hey Windwistle!"
"Mm?" The warrior woke up.
"The kit scent has gone! We can't hear any mewling!"
Windwistle widened his eyes and thought for a moment. "The only soultion is to go home."
"What?" Duskpaw exclaimed.
"We won't find it."
"What about Wintertail?" Screechpaw fretted.
Windwistle didn't reply, but began leading his small companions home.

She limped back to camp with the help of Brushtail. When they got to camp, She saw a queen nursing the starving kit. She was one of the fluffiest queens and put her tail around the little guy. She wispered to the queen,"Thank you..." Th queen ndded and started to lick the kit. Brushtail helped her back to the medicine den and Wintertail was out cold for the rest of the night.
-
The tom went to the kit and licked it. It was a scrawny thing. He wondered why Wintertail would be so attatched to it and he smiled at the queen nursing it. With a yawn, Brushtail got up and went to the med den. He laid down and kept a watchful eye on Wintertail.
-
Sneezepaw jerked awake to see a new kit. He scrambled over the queens to see the kit. He put his head on one side and squeaked. He'd never seen it before.
-
Brushtail fell asleep, his tail curling around himself. He dreamt of the new kit.
-
Wintertail saw the mother cat walk up to her. "I found the kit, but barely. I'm sure he'll be safe now." The mother spirit nodded and mewed," My kit should do wonderfully. Thank you Wintertail. I will never forget you..." She dissappered and saw the morning sun. She felt Mistpaw changing her bandages.
-
Brushtail dreamt the kit became a fine warrior with Sneezepaw as its mentor. He purred.
-
OOC: srry i've been gone. i tried to get on but didnt have enough time to write a sentence.
IC: Winterclaw woke up and her paw was throbbing. I should have never walked on that paw last night...but i had to save my kit. she thought. She looked around and saw Mistpaw and Waterlily still sleeping.
-
ooc: It's okay :)
Brushtail woke up and went to the nursery. He looked at the kits.
-
Sneezepaw squeaked at the kit curiously.
OOC: :O hai guys!
-
ooc: Hi :P
Brushtail mewed a greeting to his apprentice.
-
"Bubuh!" Sneezepaw squeaked back, as his vocabulary was still very limited.
-
"Very good," purred Brushtail.
-
Sneezepaw smiled and looked back at the kit, then back up to Brushtail questioningly. He seemed to say, who is this? Can I play with it?
-
Brushtail smiled. "You'll have to ask Whitetail that."
-
Sneezepaw blinked and turned to Whitetail, the same expression in his eyes.
-
Brushtail went to get something to eat. He brought back mice for Sneezepaw and Whitetail.
-
OOC"Wintertail.
IC: Winterclaw looked at Sneezepaw and mewed," Is he eating? You can play with him after he gets strong and full." The kit looked like it was 5 in a half months old. It'll be an apprentice soon. Maybe I can be its mentor? She thought
-
Sneezepaw looked at the kit with intrest. A new friend! Thinking about friends- where were Screechpaw and Duskpaw? And where was daddy?
Windwhistle returned to camp with the two apprentices. Screechpaw stretched and got some fresh-kill, being his quiet self. Duskpaw on the other hand, ran into the nursery. "We didn't find the kit!" He announced, before spying the thing next to Sneezepaw. "Oh. Is this the kit?"
Windwhistle followed Duskpaw more slowly. "Be quiet, Duskpaw."
Duskpaw nodded.
Screechpaw chuckled to himself. He knew this upbeat, hyperactive Duskpaw wouldn't last. Tomorrow he would be back to his prickly anti-social self. -
Doctor was a black she-cat apprentice with snow white paws and blazing green eyes. She had no friends, and at the moment, felt as if she never would.
