  • "We could, though I don't think Fadingstar'd take it as an importance. We are in fact in the middle of a battle with wolves." Winterblossom meowed, glancing around for a moment for any sign of wolves around at the moment.

  • The gray female gave a shrug in return. "I guess you could say so, though we haven't exactly had any problems with them for the past moons or so. We've had a dog as part of our medical team before, so the wolves aren't exactly that big of a surprise. Just... Bigger and a little stronger." She meowed.

  • Having given up on the fish, Winterblossom lied down on her back on the ground, gazing up into the sky. "So, what do you want to do now?" She boredly asked, olive eyes fixed on the clouds in somewhat of a dream-state.

  • Winterblossom heaved a nonchalant sigh. "Well, I don't know, either. Maybe something in camp'll spark interest." She suggested.

  • "Maybe. But the last time I tried that the fish wouldn't reply. There might be more luck with land prey, though." Winterblossom meowed, sitting up.

  • "All right, then. Where to start?" Winterblossom meowed, sitting up.

  • Just then, Rainstream walked past the two cats, " Hi Winterblossom, Shriekclaw." She greeted each of them respectfully. " Want to go hunting? There might be some water voles and fishes downstream, where the lake is not do cold. Up here, the streams are freezing! There might also be land prey who moved further downstream to drink and prepare for leaf bare."

  • "You can try to hunt some more; I'd better be getting back to camp now. Been out here long enough as it is." Winterblossom meowed, standing up. "I suppose that wouldn't be too much for you, would it, er--? Sorry, I don't really recognize you. With so many members in this Clan, I seem to only remember the higher positions." She addedd.

  • "Nice to meet you, then, Rainstorm. Naturally, I'd introduce myself to you, but it seems you already know my name." Winterblossom meowed, kindly dipping her head in greeting.

  • Moonlight walked into the area the cats were standing in she meowed her voice raspy form the cold "HIYA"
