" WOAH! " Slingpaw hissed, paddling backwards a little bit. What the hell? What was that?
-
she stared at the cat, waiting for more cats to wake up.
-
" Why are you here? " Slingpaw blinked, drawing his tail protectively round himself.
-
"why are you here?" the falcon spoke in perfect cat
-
" Sleepin'. " Slingpaw shrugged and smiled oddly at the cat.
-
-_-' "Hey Falcon this is the tenth time you've shown up here and if u dont know, WERE TRYIN TO SLEEP HERE!!!!!

femme. thunderclan. apprentice.“You wanna know something else?” Aledapaw snapped as she sat up, glaring at the apprentice who had shouted. “We’re not deaf.” The tortoiseshell tabby sent one final glare towards the annoying feline before turning an equally unfriendly gaze towards the falcon. “You, bird, what are you doing here?” came her commanding inquiry.
Aledapaw stood and stretched languidly, keeping her leaf-hued eyes on the bird of prey at all times, ready to pounce should it show any signs of threatening her. Honestly, what type of bird flew right into the apprentices’ den? One with no sense, she silently decided. “You are aware,” she drawled coldly, “that cats eat birds?” Well, maybe not birds quite that large, but she herself had snacked on a sparrow earlier today, and wasn’t about to let some larger relative of her lunch come in and disturb her nap without consequences.
The tomcat, Slingpaw, looked familiar, but Aledapaw couldn’t quite place him. She was fairly certain she’d seen him when she was younger, much younger… more than half of her lifetime ago, if she remembered the meeting correctly. “Did you know Honeyveil?” she asked bluntly.

Silverpaw left the den only to come back and start thowing skittles at the bird shouting, " TASTE THE FREAKIN RAINBOW!!!!!!!"

[/fancypost]Blinking, the tom frowned as a cat started shouting out random and unrelated things. Like, ' tasting a rainbow ' . . . what was that all about? Shaking his head, Slingpaw tilted his gaze slightly to a cat that was sitting opposite him. His golden tabby fur stuck up for a moment before flattering again. Honeyveil. . . " Aleda? Is that you? " The tom asked, his mouth slightly gawping at this cat. Who had been so small and smooth, now rugged and an apprentice.

femme. thunderclan. apprentice.“I knew I knew you!” Aledapaw exclaimed triumphantly, decidedly ignoring the strange Silverpaw and the peaceful falcon. She eyed him curiously, searching her memories for his name. Storm…? Stone…? Slug…? No, none of those. “I don’t really… remember your name,” she reluctantly admitted, though she followed it up with a defensive, “but you didn’t really visit that often and I was little.”

" Oh, um, yea. . . " Embarrassed by this fact, Slingpaw cast his gaze down and drew his paw self consciously towards him. Why hadn't he visited more? Oh, maybe because he was a total arse towards all little kits. " Well. . . yea, sorry. " Casting a sorrow gaze at her, the tom gave a futile smile and cleared his throat. " H-how is your mother then? " Forgetting about the falcon and Silverpaw as well, the golden tabby thought for a moment. " Oh! And It's Slingpaw, Aledapaw. "

femme. thunderclan. apprentice.Aledapaw’s response was blunt and slightly harsh. “She has another litter and she’s possibly pregnant again. That’s all I know and I don’t plan to go out of my way to learn more.” Of course, the fact that Phoenixheart had seemingly vanished off the face of the earth didn’t exactly improve Aledapaw’s opinion of “family,” either. She was eager to change the subject, so she quickly put in, “Slingpaw. Yeah, I remember that name now.”

" Oh. " Came the equally blunt, and suprised, tone of voice. What had happened to the sweet and perfectly charming Honeypaw he had known, way back in whatever time it had been? Casting his gaze down, the tom glanced at Aledapaw. Who, for some obvious reason, didn't seem to please by this fact. Equally eager, the tom purred and his eyes creased up happily. " Yup! Or Slingo, but whatever. So, what have you been up to? "

"can u wake others up? i have something to show you."

femme. thunderclan. apprentice.“Yeah. ‘Oh’ sums it up pretty well,” Aledapaw replied emotionlessly. Despite the fact that her younger half-siblings were the result of r.pe, the torbie had never been able to end her jealousy for them and the feeling that somehow, she and her siblings hadn’t been good enough for Honeyveil. The litter she was carrying now—Phoenixheart’s—were viewed with even less kindness by Aledapaw. “I haven’t been up to much. I have a painfully annoying mentor and I’ve discovered that plenty of loners expect us to be perfectly friendly to them after they waltz over the border.”
Silverpaw spoke again, this time asking them to wake the other apprentices up. “Uh, no. Do I look like your personal servant? Do it yourself, lazy,” was Aledapaw’s snappy retort. As usual, the thin torbie was easily irritated and angered, and rarely bothered to conceal her negative emotions.

" Tell me about it, " Slingpaw snorted as an off comment. As a tom, he looked at Aledapaw a little differently. It was plain to see she had very strong opinions of something, often a bad one, but what if it was something she really liked? Something she thought was worth fighting for? Wouldn't she be a powerful contender. . . " Actually, we'll have to talk another time. " Snorted the golden tabby, turning to face the bird who had interrupted his thoughts.
