  • Asami's eyes went a bit wide as she saw Shadow Storm pull out a weapon, she quickly stood up and hid behind Rayen, despite how much her feet were hurting. She wanted to speak out, but didn't have the courage to say anything to the 'intruder' she continued to stay behind Rayen, scared of Shadow Storm.

Asami wondered for a moment what Rayen, or Flick, or someone might do, she knew none of them were working for the school, but why couldn't this girl see that? She frowned and slowly peeked around Rayen to watch her.

  • Kira glared at him. "Stop. Touching. My. Ears." she growled. Her arms were folded across her chest and her expression said, "Touch me one more time and you'll be sorry."

She cracked a grin at Flick. "You're funny, I'll tell you that. But can you ever be quiet?"she laughed a little. It was more friendly than the first one. Shadow Storm shifted her gaze until it landed on Asami. Being afraid was worse than hating for her. She never felt good when they hid. "Who are you?" she asked, gently this time.

  • [@Shadoᵚ St°rⅿ, I just wanted to apologize for sort of copying you about the collar thing- I thought it might be funny and I hadn't seen your post when I made my forms, but I decided to actually read your forms so I would stop guessing ages in my head, (I was busy), and I realized I wrote the same thing for my character! Embarrassing...]

    Flick
I grinned slightly, and backed away. "Oh, but, my dear, I am already sorry!" I told her sounding very regretful. "I simply ooze sorrow and forgiveness! And sadly, I can't be quiet. I am like the flamingo, strange, and misunderstood!" I grinned at them, then frowned, hearing something... it was like screaming. I looked around. No, no one screaming.
Next thing I knew two boys trampled me. One had black hair, and dark skin, and the other looked like he'd gone through a stretching machine, he was so tall. He had pale skin and blond, almost white hair. They seemed to be chasing after something in the sky. The tall guy yelled something like, "ASH!" and they ran off, disappearing into the brush.
I sat up, rubbing my head. "Ow..." I grumbled.
"Sorry!" A voice came. This one was different. Female, and sounding a couple of years younger then the others. When I looked up in the tree, two girls were sitting on a branch. One, around twelve, was very similar to the dark skinned boy, except she had cat ears and tail, and probably claws, too. The older girl was about fourteen. Even from here, I could tell she was a dog. Her hair was black and her fur/skin was brown. She wore a newsboy cap, stolen no doubt, and a long coat, but I could tell she was wary, tensed for battle."Sorry," the younger girl repeated. She jumped down, landing on her feet. Well, of course she would. She was part cat. "One of the Erasers thought it'd be a good idea to bait Alex back. Shes dangling his little sister hundreds of feet above us. She knows Alex doesn't know how to fly well enough to go save her, and hes clumsy anyway, so shes leading him back to the School. I found Conner trying to slow him down... we don't like each other much, but that weird boy is already trying to slow him, so I decided to help. We lost them a while ago, so we decided to hide in this tree."

I didn't react. I didn't have any idea of how to respond. The girl seemed edgy, yet she trusted us. Unlike "Conner", up there.

  • OOC: I didn't notice that...oh well! 8) I think Shadow Storm will stab Flick...

"You know, I really want to stab you now." Shadow Storm told Flick. She turned to face the others. "Why can an Eraser fly? They only started testing with Avian DNA by the time I left. I'll trust you guys for the time being. If any of you do anything against me, I will act." she warned. "So, do we go after them?" she asked. It was practically impossible to see Alex, he was so pale. [[She can only see dark colors]]

Kira looked at the sky. "How do they see that far?" she wondered. Kira turned to the two girls. "Is there anything I can do to help?"

  • [Yay! Stabbing!]

    Flick
I rolled my eyes, and didn't reply. The girl shrugged. "Dunno," she said. "She looked a lot like you, only all wolfy." She pointed to me. I stared at her, thoroughly shocked. Lizzie? No... it couldn't be.
"I wouldn't go after them." That was Conner. Unlike the younger girl, she had no wings. She climbed down, and leaned against it. "Alex is being an imbecile, but he knows if he stops running, she'll just drop Ash. The girl is, scientifically, a major fail, and wouldn't be missed. If you want to do anything, I'd get Ash. Shes the only one in danger."

    Conner
I don't like cats. I also don't like stupid guys with stupid senses of humor, stupid, oblivious guys, like Alex, and girls who are going to kill me.
In my opinion, my company sucked. Add to that the fact that everything was in various shades of black and white, and my irritated metor went up. The dude under the tree, (Rayk), and Cassidy herself, were both almost all black, and that really got on my nerves. I can't tell what their features are most of the time. Alex was annoying too, all pale, but not as much.
I sighed. "My guess is that they started out with Avian DNA, then added the Eraser stuff in. She doesn't seem quite... right." I swore, I heard Flick mutter,
    "Lizzie."
But maybe I was wrong. Anyway.
"Cass, please do me a favor, and get out of my line of sight," I told her irritably. She hissed slightly at me, but did that. I sighed, and rubbed my forehead. I was getting a headache. Great. Just what I needed.
    Not.

  • [Hmm...
    OK.

So, everyone found an exit, and escaped through a glass wall that Asami broke with super speed or something. After fleeing some distance, (at this point, no one can still be in the school, they have to have escaped already), they regrouped in a clearing. A few characters are making plans and discussing socks, and dealing with glass-inflicted wounds, and one character left, then came back, saying he "stole a whitecoats wallet". Too easy, if you ask me.

A new girl popped up, and they're basically interrogating her, but they seem to have gone to a mutual trust. Two boys, chasing after an Eraser (above), appear briefly, trampling Flick though he seems alright. Two girls just revealed their hiding spot- they were in a tree. One of them, Cassidy, jumps down and explains a bit, while the other girl stays up there for a bit, then comes down. She seems cross for some reason. Thats basically it- their discussing what to do and maybe offering help.]

  • OOC: Guys! A thought for a plot has been passed to me by one of the Rpers here, and now I am going to pass it on to you! Rowan, has suggested that we have two different 'flocks' and they have a sort of rivalry, or something against each other, but eventually they may have to team up, to keep everyone alive...
    Let me know your thoughts!

IC: Asami blinked at Shadowstorm, before realizing she wasn't really trying to be that scary. She sat back down on the floor and looked at her, "Asami.." she said quietly to her, telling Shadow Storm her own name, and then going back to silence. She didn't want to talk to someone that had a weapon in their hand, and she remained back behind Rayen, only now sitting down and rubbing her feet.

  • OOC: Time to stab Flick? I like the plot idea!

Shadow Storm looked at Asami. "Nice to meet you, Asami." she said. She stood behind Flick, calmly waiting for a decision to be made.

Kira sat by the rude tree and looked to the distance. No doubt the white coats had their Erasers looking for them. She tried to take off the collar around her neck, but it didn't release. It never did, but Kira never gave up on that.

  • [Nice... I automatically volunteer Alex, Ash, and Conner! Cassidy, Raven, and Flick can stay in this flock. Not sure about Lizzie...
And yesyesyesyesyesyes!!! Stab him, stab him, stab him!]

    Cassidy
I decided to sit down. I wanted to see if maybe I could bite the collar. I had never felt like I had enough space in my cage to try, but now I did. Once, I had tried to unbuckle it with the fake buckle there, thinking it was real. When the Whitecoat came to get me, he started laughing. He had added a bell, at one point, but I ripped it off. I hate bells.
Anyway, so I sat down next to a tree, oposite a girl, (I think she has canine/lupine DNA, which I dislike, but I ignored that), and began trying to bite it off. I was curled up like a pretzal, and after several tries, I gave up. Then I tried to untangle.
Uh oh. After a few more tries, I started calling for help. I sounded pathetic, but I needed help. I just hope they don't laugh too much...
    "Help! Help please!"

  • [[YAY!!! I'm considering Shadow Storm...]]

Kira turned to look at Cassidy. "You have one too?" she asked. "Well, at least I'm not the only one." Kira muttered. She tried to undo the buckle on hers, but they must have glued it together. She was tempted to kick the tree again, but her foot still hurt. Strangely enough, her head was healed.

Shadow Storm grew bored of listening to Flick that she poked him with the black quill.

  • OOC: Alrighty, I will attempt to figure out how to cut everything apart, and if people from this current flock begin to become detached, they may be in the other one... Idk yet D: May need help .-.

IC: Asami's tail began to flick from side to side now, she wasn't near as scared anymore at Shadow Storm. She quickly looked around to see everyone around her, once she confirmed what all was happening around her, she crawled over to a tree and sat at it, leaning back against it.

  • Cassidy
I sighed slightly, at what she said. "Yes," I said wearily. "A stupid Whitecoat treated me like a housecat. He even added a bell, but I ripped it off. Stupid guy." I sighed. "Can you please, please, please help me untangle myself?" I added sheepishly.

    Flick
I was just about to start talking. Then something pricked my back. "Oh man..." I muttered, and fell unconscious.

  • Shadow Storm
Shadow Storm grinned. "Finally!" she said. "Peace and quiet." She threw the spine over her shoulder and it fell into a bush. The spine quickly dissolved and a new one had grown a while earlier.

    Kira
"Yeah. An eraser thought it would be funny to treat me like a dog. Even though I'm part wolf. He was really stupid." Kira reached her hands to Cassidy's neck and started to fiddle with it. "You really have it stuck." she muttered under her breath.

  • Cassidy
If I could have, I would have smacked my forehead. "I've tried that before," I muttered, "I meant the fact that I'm curled up like a pretzel and stuck." I sighed. "Never mind. I'm just gonna go to sleep or something. It won't come off anyway."

  • Cassidy
I don't know what she did, but next thing I knew three things happened.
    1-
My tail felt like it was ripped out, though it wasn't, and I yelped.
    2-
Somehow, I was untangled, and landed on my rear. Ow. Again.
I sighed slightly, then grinned at her. "Thanks," I told her gratefully, rubbing my sore bottom and tail.

  • "Sorry about the tail." Kira apologized. "At least you're free." She stood up and looked around, almost hitting the tree. "Ha! Take that tree!'' She shouted and blushed.

OOC: My muse is kinda low today...sorry.

  • Cassidy
I shrugged. A small pain was fine with me. At least I was free. I giggled when she yelled at the tree, then reddened, and covered my mouth. "Sorry," I mumbled.

  • Rayen decided to back off of Shadow Storm, not fully trusting her, yet noticing a shift in the girl's attitude. She greatly appreciated the quiet, and gaped at her quills in wonder. "Do you think we can bottle those?" Rayen asked, "We might need them again for Fl- I mean, in case anything happens," she reddened. She did think he was funny... it was just that he never quite seemed to stop talking. "Hey, you two need some help?" Rayen asked Kira and Cassidy, "Those collars don't look too comfortable..." She had an idea, snapping her fingers and thinking light to herself, hoping for fire. Heat would cause the collars to expand, and she could slip them off. As long as she didn't burn anyone... She grinned at the tiny flame between her fingers, cupping her hand to keep it from going out. Then she sighed, considering tying down Kira so she wouldn't hurt any more trees.Do I have time to see what the other crisis is all about? Chasing an eraser? What are they thinking? But if it means saving another person... Well, we'll see. Rayen looked toward the sky, wondering if it would be too late to go after them or not.
