He nodded modestly. "I'm glad everyone's okay." A smile appeared on his golden muzzle.

"Would anyone like to come hunting with me?" Birdsong asked softly, looking around the gathered cats.

Toucanfeather nodded, "Sure!"

"i'll come." said Riverstone quietly, approaching Birdsong and toucanfeather. She loved hunting, and she was quite good at it.

Toucanfeather nodded, "Great!"

Riverstone's grey and white paws churned at the ground excitedly, and her green eyes glowed with anticipation. "When will we go?" she asked.

"Now," the older she-cat purred.

"Let's go then!" called Riverstone over her shoulder as she raced out of camp like an apprentice on their first day of training.

She rolled her eyes and padded after her.

Riverstone slowed and stopped, waiting for Toucanfeather to catch up. Her paws tingled with the urge to run off again, but she restrained herself.
