Catching a quick fish, Daggerfoot saw a cat on the other side of the river."Whoa.." he said, seeing the cats beautiful, silky furred body.

She looked over at the Tom, wow she thought. His fur seemed o shine in the light. She turned away. And walked over to a rock on the bank. She lay on the rock

He shivered at the sight of her. She's beautiful, he thought. But does she think the same of me?

Catching another fish, he hopped the river and slowly padded toward her. He sat down, nervous look as he got closer to her."H-hello."

She looks around as if expecting someone else to be there. "uh... Hi" she stammered. She held her breath. Is he really talking to me?

He stepped back."I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you..." he sighed. He was just glad he got to talk to her.

"it's fine" she said smiling.

Hearing her talk smoothly, he took a bold move. He walked up on the rock and sat next to her, blushing.

She smiled. "what's your name?" she asked.

"My name is Daggerfoot." he said, smiling back.

"I like that name" she said, blushing. "my name is RainShadow".

"I like yours better," he said, blushing intensely.

She blushed. "where are you from?" she asked. She wanted to know more about him. He seemed nice. And he was very attractive.

"I'm from nowhere, I'm a loner." he was blushing intensely, his warmth was growing larger with embarrassment.

"oh," she said. Good, she thought. Now I at least have a chance. "I am too." she moved a little closer to him. He's warm. She thought. Is he nervous?

He felt her move closer, so he moved closer. The tips of their hair were touching, and he blushed."That's good. I am too. I mean-" he said, realizing he had already said that. His body was now burning in embarrassment.

She smiled. " well then maybe we can stay together. I could use some company." she sat so they were touching.

He was blushing so badly that anything he said came out in a squeak."S-sure, I-I will stay with you."
