Night Creek's History

Night Creek was formed by a human farmer back in December 24th, 1870! This little farm turned into a ranch for little human children to spin the night at and serve at the ranch and have fun. However, the dogs here were family to the farmer and were a bunch-load of help for making the ranch possible. And so, a few years later, this farm called Night Ranch, became a little town. The farmer passed away and the dogs took over the town ever since. Humans began to move out of the town and dogs began to crowd the town. One day, the humans decided to make the town bigger for the dogs and built more to it. A dog hotel that only dogs can operate, a shop for dogs, houses the size of dog houses! It was doggy paradise till Risk came into the world.
That little fluff of joy, he always messed things up for his family and others. It's as if he was made to make things go wrong instead of right. So when he was a teenager, he left the town which was called Dog Town. Not very creative huh? Well dogs are not very creative with town names. Risk's mother became mayor of the town while Risk lived in the shadows of Night Creek 40 miles away from the town. Sad, but exhilarating, right? Ever since, Risk had been causing havoc among the town.

Rank Meanings
Leader - Pretty self explanatory, this high ranking position deserves the utmost respect and is what keeps the pack glued together. The leader is responsible for everyone and everything in the pack. Whoever is the leader must be well-known and has done the pack good. The leader plans and leads whatever. They make decisions that prove to be healthy for the pack's survival.
Beta Female - This is the trusty friend of the leader and would be mates with the Beta Male. This is the second highest rank and it would take a lot of effort to get this position as much as it is to be the leader. This rank is busy and should be one of the busiest ranks in all of the pack. They still receive respect from their leader and those below her rank. They plan things with the leader and will become momentary leaders if the current leader is unavailable for sometime. After the leader dies or retires, Beta Female and Male becomes the next leader.
Beta Male - [Same as the definition above]
Guards - The guards of the pack are one of the silent type of dogs. They do nothing but protect their leader from any life-threatening struggles. These guardians are the largest in the pack and isn't hesitant to rip someone apart. The most senior guard will possibly become the leader if the Beta Male and Female isn't ready for bigger responsibilities.
Medicine Dog - The medicine dog has the responsibility of healing others with their gifted skills for healing dogs with herbs. Medicine dogs cannot have pups, like in the clans, it's forbidden and would not be allowed. Mates yes. Pups no.
Medicine Dog Apprentice [ MDA ] - The medicine dog apprentice helps the MD with the herbs and keeps track of them. The MDA has more limited preparations than the MD of Crystalline Pack.
Lead Warrior - The lead warrior is pretty much the leader of the warriors team. They are in charge of the raids, fights, hunts, and other things. The lead warrior is trusted by the leader of the pack.
Warriors - The fighters of the pack.
Patrollers - These dogs patrol borders daily, every morning, afternoon, and night. If a patrol dog is found lazy and rude to other pack members, they will be deceived of their duty and will be bumped up to a warrior. Or down to a learner.
Learners - Apprentices of the clan. They have limited abilities to the pack. They take care of the elders, pups, queens, and complete tasks of when the leader or whatever high position ask them of.
Huntresses - The huntresses are a group of elite female dogs, loyal to the leader, warriors, and other high positions. They go out on hunts and bring back prey. Each huntress needs to bring back three pieces of prey.
Queens - Dams [ mothers ] of the pack. They take care of each other's pups, no matter what. A female may kill another dog's pups for a chance of dominance within the pack or to get to Risk and obviously become mates with the handsome young dog. [ heard of 'it's a dog eat dog world'? that's what I'm talking about ]
Pups - The future of the pack.
Council - The elders of the clan. They also speak of the past history and events.
Omegas - The lowest rank of all within the pack and the least trusted by Risk. They may bump up to a warrior if they prove themselves worthy to Risk in a battle with a battle against him or the lead warrior.
