The Destruction(ish) of ThunderClan (A Falling Tree and a mudslide!) Open to all

    OOC: This thread has been approved by Yellowstar(who will also be joining here soon), and is open to all ThunderClan Cats. The tree that will be falling will land on the Warriors den and over highrocks. Soon after a mudslide will wipe out the nursery.


    It was raining. Hard. Flashes of lightning, and the soon after rumble of thunder shook the ground. Tigereye looked out into the cloudy haze of rain. Something felt wrong, and Pebblekit noticed too. Tigereye and her brother- Pebblekit- had left the nursery for some fresh air, and was soon welcomed by the rain and thunder. It wasn't long before a flash of lightning lit up the sky, taking the breath out of Tigereye. She held Pebblekit close to her, as the thunder echoed threw the camp, and shook the floor. the weather was to dangerous for her brother to be out here. Tigereye started to head back to the nursery when an ear popping noise broke the silence. A great large oak tree was swaying in the wind like a toothpick. Tigereye looked up in horror at the scene. The tree was breaking! She had to tell Yellowstar. The tree was going to fall over the camp, but Tigereye couldn't just leave Pebblekit. She grasped her brother by the scruff and bolted for the highrocks. The giant oak tree snapped, and with a loud boom it started to fall. It happened so fast, and in a few seconds the tree had fallen over the warriors den. The thorny brambles that protected the den were no match for the heavy tree trunk. The foliage of the tree collapsed onto highrocks. Tigereye rolled out of the way before the tree could crush her. Debris flew into the air, as mud caked Tigereye's pelt. The tree hit the ground, and with a vicious boom it shook Tigereye, and made her loose her footing.


    Everything was quite. No one screamed, no one cried. Nothing. Tigereye heaved herself to her feet, and grabbed Pebblekit in her jaws. She had to help. What if Yellowstar was trapped in her den? What if some warriors got crushed? What has happened to ThunderClan, and why would StarClan allow this?

    Mintpaw broke the silence with a blood curdling scream. "OH. MY. GOSH. Did you see that?!" She pointed out the oak toppling over the warrior's den. "Eugh, I had enough suprises today." Mintpaw sat down.

    Pebblekit followed his older sister-Tigereye- out of the nursery, he heard the thunder outside and moved closer to her as the noise scared him, he never heard thunder before, or lighting. He went limp when Tigereye grabbed him by the scruff. His eyes wide when he saw the tree fall over the warriors den but he didn't know it, he wasn't out camp before. "What's happening Tigereye?" he meowed softly fear in his voice. Silver tabby tom-kit was scared.

    Tigereye looked around. She wanted to go help evacuate the warriors den, and see if Yellowstar was alright. Pebblekit had never seen the outside world before, beyond the protection of the nursery. Quickly, Tigereye husseled over to Mintpaw.


    "Here. Take Pebblekit. I will go look for Yellowstar."


    Tigereye dropped Pebblekit at Mintpaw's feet. "Stay here, and be good.." She whispered to the frightened kit. She licked his cheek, and then raced towards the fallen tree. She jumped onto highrocks, and lifted herself over the trunk. The leaf-filled branches were blocking Yellowstar's den. Tigereye weaved threw the broken branches, trying to get to Yellowstar'd den.

    Pebblekit looked to Mintpaw then to Tigereye. He wanted to follow Tigereye, he got up as if to follow her but he did as she said he stayed put, shacking in fear. His kitten silver tabby fur bristled three times it's normal size, his fur getting socked like he has gone for a swim from the rain. He shock from fear more then the cold. He watched where Tigereye went until she got out of his eye sight.

    "Tigereye'll be back, Pebblekit. Don'tcha worry one bit." Mintpaw huddled closer to her brother, protecting him from the rain. "I know it will be the least of our problems but, you'll get a cold!"

    Hillkit heard the yowl and the crash. He scurried out of the nursery as fast as his legs would alow. "Great StarClan!" he squeaked in surprise. What happened?

    Pebblekit at first flinched away from Mintpaw but moved closer to her as he felt warmth against her. It just wasn't the same as his mother or Tigereye but he loved the warmth and loved his family even if he was upset a lot.

    "Well gee kid, we're all family here. It's not like I'm a stranger or anythin'." Mintpaw mewed. "Oh! Hillkit, it's nothing. Just a bit of thunder and lighting that's all." The silver tabby mau hoped that the kit didn't notice the warrior den.

    Hillkit had noticed the warrior den. ((XD)) "What in the name of StarClan happened?!" he squeaked again. He mentally scolded himself. You're almost an apprentice, act like one! he thought.

    "The warrior den? Oh no no no no no, there's nothing wrong with it!" Mintpaw blocked Hillkit's view. She didn't want the kit to see the oak that had fallen over it.

    Skypaw put Boldkit down in front of him and glanced over at his mate. "Are you okay?" he asked, worried. Then he looked around. "Where's Granitestorm?" he asked in alarm.

    Rosepaw looked to her mate and nodded her head yes. "Yes I'm alright." she meowed, she looked around camp and gasped shocked with what happened. "Hope everyone's alright." she meowed nuzzling her mate's shoulder. She hopped everyone was alright, if not the clan would need her to hunt or patrol, she looked to her mate not sure he let her with expecting kits or at least for a while.


    Pebblekit saw skypaw, and padded over to him leaving his older sister and over to his older brother.

    Chimerapaw peered outside, the rain lashing his red tabby pelt. He blinked water grom his green eyes and looked about. "Is everyone all right?"

    "We don't know where Granitestorm is!" Skypaw cried to Chimerapaw.


    ((OOC | He's inside with his own kits and mate, since it's unlocked now. I have *no* idea what happened to Keani though!))

    "Yup, I think we're all okay. 'Cept we're kind missing Granitestorm. Starclan knows where he is." Wondering where his big brother went. In a matter of fact, she hadn't seen her brother for some time now.

    Rosepaw nuzzled her mate trying to calm him. The new queen looked around worried a bit but stayed against her mate trying to calm him a bit. She looked to the medicine cat then back to her mate, her blue eyes looking at him. "Calm down Skypaw." she meowed.

    ((yeah, I have a kit in there, but I forgot it's name!! XO It's been so long…))


    Hillkit had seen the warrior's den. "I'm almost an apprentice. Stop treating me like a little kit!" he exclaimed. The cream tabby shook his head.

    (How old are Skypaw and Mintpaw?)


    "Pfft, well I'm nine moons so that means . . . four more moons before I become a warrior!" Mintpaw boasted along. "And yeah, you're ALMOST an apprentice. But you're still a kit."

    "As soon as a mentor is found for me, I'm gonna be an apprentice. And you don't automatically become a warrior at 12 moons!" Hillkit meowed angrily.


    ((Really, though, can anyone mentor Hillkit? He's overdue for apprenticeship))
