    The rouge moved through the the bushes that were mostly thorny. Toka wasn't paying attention until the rouge jumped from the bushes and pinned Toka roaring.


    Nia was about to pounce when a loud roar spooked the herd and made them run away. She stiffened at the roar and began running towards it.

    Wangari gave a snarl and knocked the rogue from the side, trying to push him away. Her claws at the ready and glinting, threatened to rake across the rogue's face. But she'd wait for the right time.

    This is the rouge


    Toka stared at the rouge with fear. Nia leaped over her son growling. She realised who the rouge was and went wide eyed

    Wangari looked at her Queen and got off of the rogue. She walked slowly over to Toka and sat down, panting and flexing her claws in case she needed to leap again.

    Wangari lay down and rested her head on her paws, her eyes threatning to close, but she kept them open, trying not to fall asleep.

    "Iam Kujo." The lion rumbled. "I live in the outlands and protect it as my home unless someone else was banished here I welcome them." Nia growled. "Do you know this lion?" Toka asked his mother. "I'm your father." Kujo said before Nia could speak. Toka looked at Nia and frowned. "You lied." He stomped away. Nia walked over to the pride. "Let's go."

    Toka was silent the whole walk home. He felt tears stream down his face. "She lied to me." He whispered and looked at Wangari. "Has anyone ever kept a secret from you all your life?" He asked her. Nia ran ahead and jumped onto pride rock when she got there.

    Wangari nodded. "Yes. Some lions lie to me over and over again." She looked at Toka and her eyes showed a bit of pain. "But I always forgive. I think that's my problem." Her tail flicked. "I'm sorry, Toka." Wangari shyly licked his cheek and walked ahead, afraid he would do something.

    Toka sighed and walked towards the watering hole. He stopped at the edge of the water looking at his reflection and saw his fathers. He layed his head on his oaws and fell asleep.


    Nia watched the others make their way back. She layed on the rock keeping an eye out for danger.

    Wangari sat away from everyone else, sighing to herself. She lay her head on her paws and fell asleep, quietly.

    Wangari woke up and streched, she saw everyone was asleep, so she walked lightly over to the water hole. She looked at the water then bent down and drank a bit, looking at her reflection in the water once she was done. Wangari turned away from the water hole, and returned to the pride.
