I can do some fancyposts, although they're pretty basic. I'd be willing to tutor you, and won't charge you any freshkill. I might if I could teach you more, but I can't do picture backgrounds or stuff like that, so...Here's the best one I've made for one of my charries:
[fancypost bgcolor= background hex code; bordercolor= border hex code; borderwidth= 7px Border Width (Recommended 0-7)px;][fancypost bgcolor=black; bordercolor=white; borderwidth=0px; font-family: times new roman; font-style: italic; font-size: 40px; margin-bottom: -13px; letter-spacing: 14px; text-align: right]Shypaw[/fancypost][fancypost bgcolor=#FF00FF borderwidth=17px;][fancyimage]http://warriorcatsrpg.com/Them…scar&accessorytwo=default[/fancyimage]ThunderClan apprentice

Okay!Sounds good so what's first?
-
What would you like to learn first?
-
The basics please
-
Okay, we'll start with a basic fancypost. The code for it is here, although it's taken directly from A Guide to Making a Fancypost {scrollies, dashed border, rounded edges, etc} by Bruno.
CodeHere's what it will look like:
[fancypost bgcolor=SkyBlue bordercolor=DodgerBlue borderwidth 17px][fancyimage][/fancyimage]IC:
OOC: This is how it should look when you've filled everything in! :) Of course, you'll probably use different colors.[/fancypost]
-
[fancypost bgcolor=This is the color inside! bordercolor=000120 borderwidth=3px][fancyimage]Put your picture here. NO IMG's CODES![/fancyimage][color=.]Did it work?[/color][/fancypost]
-
You made the background translucent somehow, unless you meant to do that. Also, you didn't put the color of your text in. Pretty good for a first try though! :) Also, if you want a fancypost pic, just find something that's not illegal to use and put the link in there.
-
Okay
-
[fancypost bgcolor=Gold bordercolor=DodgerBlue borderwidth=7px][fancyimage]Put your picture here. NO IMG's CODES![/fancyimage]This is how it should look sort of whenever you've filled eveything in. After every "=" put a color. When you get to borderwidth, put a 7 and don't erase px, because that's important.[/fancypost]
-
[fancypost bgcolor=Pink bordercolor=75F5C6] [borderwidth=7px][fancyimage][/fancyimage]Hows this?[/fancypost]
-
Much, much better! Something went a bit wonky with the border width, but we'll figure something out. Great job! :)
-
Yeah!

[fancypost bgcolor=This is the color inside! bordercolor=000120 borderwidth=3px][fancyimage]http://sobi.org/photos/Cat/Bristol/Kittens_0037.jpg[/fancyimage][color=.]Did it work?[/color][/fancypost]

The picture worked, but you didn't put in a background color for your fancypost. :)
-
[fancypost bgcolor=Pink bordercolor=000120 borderwidth=3px][fancyimage]http://sobi.org/photos/Cat/Bristol/Kittens_0037.jpg[/fancyimage][color]Who's it now?[/color][/fancypost]
-
Great job! The pic is there, so you're got everything going for basic, basic fancyposts. We shall be moving on to dotted borders soon.
-
Okay I'm ready when you are
-
Okay, the code that I got from the Complete List of Fancypost Codes for a dotted fancypost is:
Code- [align=center][fancypost bgcolor= background hex code; bordercolor= border hex code; borderwidth= Border Width (Recommended 0-7)px;border-top: px dotted; border-left: px dotted; border-bottom: px dotted; border-right: px dotted;][fancyimage]Put your picture here. NO IMG CODES![/fancyimage][font=georgia][color=Text Color Hex Code]YOUR TEXT HERE[/color][/font][/fancypost][/align]
Before every px, put a 7, it's the basic number for these. Afterwards, it should look something like this:
[fancypost bgcolor=#FF00FF; bordercolor= #0000FF; borderwidth=5px;border-top: 5px dotted; border-left: 5px dotted; border-bottom: 5px dotted; border-right: 5px dotted;][fancyimage]Put your picture here. NO IMG CODES![/fancyimage]Yay![/fancypost]
