[[I would prefer a talkative, or at least tolerant medicine cat/apprentice, if there is one. :) My kitten is not TC-born, and is going to be quite inquisitive about the job as she's getting patched up. Thank you.]]
The two best friends, grey and white, ying and yang, hobbled on shaky, exhausted legs towards the medicine den. Well, Jadekit *hoped* it was the medicine den; she had never been inside, but the strange smells coming from the direction led her pink nose that way.
The 4-moon old Jadekit was trying to help hold up Freedomkit as she walked. Her slightly older and stronger friend had done most of the fighting against the fox cub, but Jadekit wasn't sure she was helping much because of her own limp. [glow=red,2,300]Her left paw had gotten stuck somewhere during all the drama, perhaps in the tree, and had gotten over-extended[/glow] when she went to pull it out. It hurt, but if the grey kitten didn't put too much weight on it, it wasn't unbearable.
"Hang on Freedomkit; we're almost there," Jadekit said to her dust-covered white friend. They were both filthy from the scuffle with the red fox, but Jadekit had gotten away with just a few bruises and scrapes. There was no telling how beat up her friend was... They were both exhausted, the grey tabby knew that for certain! Hopefully there was something to [glow=red,2,300]help them regain their normal strength[/glow]...
When they reached the entrance of the medicine den, Jadekit tried to gently help Freedomkit to the floor, but it was a rough landing. "Excuse me?" she meowed as r tone; she was deeply worried for her friend. "How do we go about getting help here? Please?" Jadekit fumbled her words, because having been born an orphan in the loner lands and then adopted by ThunderClan only a moon ago, she had no clue how the medicine den, or healing cats, or their ways worked.
The grey kitten sat down and her reflexes made her tail twitch with anxiety, but apparently there was a [glow=red,2,300]moderate gash on her tail[/glow], for it sent a wave of pain up her body. She grimaced, but made no sound as she waited for any cat to answer her.
