  • It was hard for Frostshine not to flinch when Shadowflare glared at him. He decided it was best to be polite, so he dipped his head, bringing it low to the ground. "Tomorrow. Blood River. Sunrise. I'll be there with Rockpaw." He promised.

  • "good" he said walking away. "wow!" gashped mapplestorm. "that is the first time he hasent killed someone for wanting 'more time to think about it' he must like you." she said before bounding away.

  • A hot flash of fear shot down Frostshine's spine. " H-hasn't killed for saying that? Great Place-of-no-Stars! What have I gotten myself into?" He mewed outloud watching Shadowflare and Maplestorm bound away.
Turning his attention toward the now waking apprentice, Frostshine narrowed his eyes. "Are you gonna shut up and listen to me now? Or are you going to blabber on about your mother?" He spat out the questions.
Rockpaw whimpered and shook his head, "I'll be quiet, I promise!" Her gaze was unfocused, and Frostshine was wondering just how hard he had hit her.

"Come with me." Frostshine ordered with a flick of his tail. "I need think about this with Snaketail."

  • OOC~Haha, I'll just fast forward a day?

    IC~

Frostshine led his bruised apprentice to the Blood River right before the pale sickly sun began to flutter through the trees. Rockpaw's eye was swollen shut where Frostshine had hit her, and he hoped the Shadowflare would still accept the apprentice, even in the state she was in.
He had spoken with his old mentor, and she was highly suspicious, telling him to be careful, and watch his back. She was also none too happy about having Rockpaw taken away.
Frostshine approached the Blood River and pushed his way through the slimy tall grass.

  • shadowflare was already there watching frostshine like a hawk. he glanced at rockpaw quikly but then spoke: "have you decided." he said this more of a statement then a question. shadowflares own apprentice sat behind shadowflare looking at frostshine suspicously.

  • Frostshine flattened his ears and bowed his head. "I wish to join you, if you'll accept me." He growled quietly, hoping the other cats didn't hear the embarrassment in his voice. Rockpaw shuddered behind him. "W-what are you going to do to me?" She stared at Shadowflare, eyes wide with fear.

  • he smiled evilly "we will have you and to answer your question rockpaw you will be cept with the other apprentices and be trained harshly, break our rules and you die.you will live by strenght and wits and you will learn respect." he said staring at rockpaw. "this is my apprentice venompaw."

  • Rockpaw let out a shriek when Shadowflare was done speaking. "But I don't want to train! I don't want to be here anymore! I want my mother! That's all I've ever wanted!!" She began to back up, ready to bolt at any moment.
Frostshine let out a hiss and glared at Rockpaw. "If you leave, you die. Got it!?" Under his intense gaze, Rockpaw fell silent, whimpering and shaking in terror. Frostshine let out a purr of satisfaction, and turned his attention back at Shadowflare and Venompaw. He dipped his head respectfully. "It's an honor to be in your presence, Shadowflare. And it's an honor to meet you, Venompaw."

  • venom paw steped forward his cool and colected yellow gaze landed on frostshine. he spoke softly but it filled the ears of every cat there as if she was yelling. "it is a honor to meet you to frostshine, im shure you will meet up to my mentors standards, however being shadowflares apprentice natruley i am in a higher ranking than you. rockpaw come down if you follow the rules and work hard im shure my mentor will let you see your mother." she said icely. shadowflare grunted: "warriors come." and a group of highly trainded apprentices and warriors lept out of the bushes and went away with him.
