    Vexre nodded to show them that it was time. He felt that thrill that he always felt when he was anticipating the kill. Killing wasn't his favorite pastime, but he would do it if he had to in order to survive. Here we go! he thought, looking across the field that the elk were hidden in.


    ooc: who has a crush on Vexre?

    Keavy does.

    Keavy shot off at Vexre's nod, Finbar doing his own planned action.

    ooc|: Ok, Spark and Keavy can like Vexre, but then Spark moves on to Finbar once Vexre breaks her heart on Keavy?


    ic|: The elk raced towards Vexre and he spotted the old cow. He focused in on her. With only the smallest of ear flicks he signaled Finbar forward with him. The elk scattered as Vexre burst forth, the cow not being so lucky. She turned late and Vexre hit her flank, causing her to stumble.


    ooc (again)|: The cow is my player, and only dies when I want her to.

    Um Im just going to make her like Finbar Since thats were I wanted her to be. Unless you want to do that?))


    Spark scarred more of the elk away with her barks. She snarled as she was kicked.

    ooc|: Who's Karma?


    ic|: Vexre rolled over as he hit the ground, he saw the elk charge him and he danced out of the way. He leaped at the elk, purposely aiming to the left of the elk. He reached out his jaws and slashed his teeth along her neck, dangerously close to the life-vein that kept her heart beating and her fighting.

    Keavy was busy keeping the other elk away with growls and bites. They quickly fled, finding that losing one cow was better than half their herd.


    Finbar had followed Vexre's orders, and as he attacked the cow from one side, Finbar attacked from the other. He gnashed at the legs of the cow, wanting to topple her over so that Vexre could go for the kill, but it would also keep her distracted.

    Vexre leaped at the cow, aiming for her throat, but missed and her hoof came up and he rolled away, his head throbbing. This old cow still had plenty of fight left.
    "Fall back, chase her towards the woods where she'll be more vunurable, we're faster than her in the forest," Vexre called out from his place behind the cow.


    With the cow now concentrating almost fully on Vexre, he couldn't give up the vast opportunity to snap at her side, hopefully driving her to the forest as his leader had instructed. Keavy, with the cow not knowing of her presence among the commotion, took a running start, hoping she could jump and land on the old cow, toppling her over once she entered the forest. That would give Vexre the perfect kill. She also hoped that it would impress him.

    The cow rolled onto her side and shook Keavy off. Running into the forest she didn't look back. Vexre chased after her. With a flick of his ears he instructed his pack to fall in behind him.


    Keavy had easily landed on her paws again and raced off after the cow. Finbar followed in the she-wolf's wake.
