Spade blinked slowly in thanks and lowered her head to graz among the wildflowers taht bloomed around her black hooves.
Jasper watched the herd through narrowed eyes and he flicked his tail.

Artemis's eyes narrowed as she looked around the herd. Her eyes fell on one horse in particular, this one had wings, and it wasn't their leader. The pegasus had looked familiar until she realized who it was. Artemis's eyes widened in shock, "Mystery...they've got my brother."
ooc: Ok, but they still treated Artemis's brother badly.

Lady flew to Spade and whisper's quietly in her ear,'' Why do you have Artemis's brother? He's the one with wings." (Lady hasn't visit Spade and her herd in a while, so Lady didn't know that they had Artemis's' brother)

Artemis stared at him, he looked beaten and weak. She hadn't seen him in years, ever since he went missing. Artemis wanted to go and talk to him, but she couldn't risk it.
ooc: Shadow (her brother) went missing when they were foals. Their parents had already died, so they were alone. Shadow was taken by the unicorn herd and was abused, I don't know why yet, but I'm open to suggestions :). All I know is that they won't let him leave. I'll make a form for him later.

Mystery tossed her head then nodded to Artemis, "yes, I thought i recognised him." She nickered. Trotting down the hill, she raised her head high, "Spade." She addressed the leader. "We only want to talk."Rosethorn raised her head and trotted over behind her leader, ready to fight on command.
Lightnings eyes widened in surprise when he saw Rosethorn, *what the...!? Do I know her? I swear I've seen that greensh fur before! Yes! Roses in her mane! THAT'S HER!* He snuck around the group and waved her over. He hid in the bushes, waving her over again.
Rosethorn saw something move out of the corner of her eye. She looked around her then trotted over, "what?" She snorted. "I'm not supposed to be seen with the enemy in broad daylight!"
Thinking for a few moments, Lightning looked at her, "okay. Meet me at the border at sunset tomorrow." He whinnied softly. He trotted away, back to his herd.
