  • I saw the car and backed up a bit, watching the new boy go into the house. I could nearly smell money on him. Another city boy - time to see if this one was nice. I turned around and walked back to the Big House, going inside. I walked around him to a window to watch him. I tilted my head side to side. He seemed older then what the camp was taking. I walked up to him and stuck my hand out to him. "I'm Annabelle." I said, fighting the urge not to run away and hide from all the people.

  • derek began stomping twords the trees,"I am OUTTA HERE!"he yelled, detirmened. these people were so wierd.
Lola walked outside,"You wont last a minute in those woods."she called to him.
derek steped into the woods and backed up,"Its just a matter of luck that your right."he said, walking back.lola rolled her eyes,"You wont last two weeks here."she taunted. her narrowed his eyes,"I could easily."he said. she half smiled,"you wanna bet??she asked,"its on."derek said, grabbing his stuff and walking in.

  • Casimir turned his head to the voice's source. He smiled politely at the girl and shook her hand. "Ah, hello Annabelle. I'm Casimir." He gave her a charming smile, just like he always did. That's what he did in any greeting, business or social. Turn on the charm and be polite, even if you didn't like the person at all. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

  • I laugh and walk up to Lola, smiling. "Nice job. You should've bet some money on that." I grinned.

  • I try to hold in my laugh. Was this guy being polite? This is the country! Charming doesn't getcha anything out here. Hard work does. "It's great to meet you, Casimir." I say, smiling. I liked this guy. I didn't need to run and put up my shield. Casimir was definitly good with first impressions. The held in laugh disappeared, "You're great with first impressions."

  • "I'm familiar with the process by now, I assume. My occupation requires it," he relaxed some, noticing her unfazed expression.

I sighed in contempt as I entered the building, pulling my scarf up over my face as people staired at me. It felt so uncomfortable to be here, and basicually I hid behind my sketch book. Trying to figure each person out individually, by what they wore and any imprints or rashs or well, let's face it, , lots of other things about them. I could figure out when people where lying, and, depending on the person, why they where.

  • "What exactly is your occupation?" I asked. I tilted my head to the side, still smiling. I wanted to make a good impression, because if I didn't, I'm pretty sure I'd want to hide from him the remainder of time I still had at camp. "I assume you live in New York, right?" I was afraid I was asking too many questions, so when he responded I would say that he could ask me anything he wanted.

  • "You're a smart girl." Casimir grinned crookedly, surprised at the girl's intuition. "I am the Vice President of a financial firm. What about you? Where do you come from?" He rolled up his dress shirt sleeves and unbuttoned some of the top buttons to relax some.

  • OOC:: Ezra! I LOVE your name! Everytime I see it I do this:

Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Eccliesastes, Song of Solomon, Isiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosiah, Joel, Amos, Obediah, Jonah, Micah, Nehum, Habbukk, Zethiniah, Haggia, Zecheriah, Malichi.

I just HAD to say that! XD

  • I rolled my eyes. "Isn't it obvious? I'm from here. And I don't really work. Unless you consider patrolling my father's land for poachers a job." I laugh. "You have any more questions?" I ask. The thought of befriending Casimir ran through my head. Maybe, maybe I'd befriend him. I'd just wait and see. Study him like I watch the horses. "Also, I can teach you anything you want. From how to clean horse hooves to how to make your horse gallop." Annoying, ran through my head. Was my inner-mind telling me I was being annoying? Less talking, it said, more acting pretty. I wanted to punch that voice in the neck.

  • (XD thank you. It's my actual name. Since Catholism is so popular here in Italy, my parents named be after a book in the Bible since we are Christians. I do like my name also. :D thank you! )

Casimir chuckled some. "I apologize. I thought a pretty face like yours would be from the city. And I'd also appreciate your help. I came here on a vacation of sorta by order of my father and I must admit," he leaned over next to her ear. "I know nothing about places." He leaned back up, chuckling again. "But that will be out little secret." He put his finger over his mouth and winked at her. "Now, I have to go put my belongings on my bunk. It's been a pleasure meeting you Annabelle." He smiled at her one last time before turning down the hall and heading to his room.

  • Annabelle watched Casimir walk away. This shall be interesting time at camp, I thought, grinning. He was kind of cute, too. No! Bad Annabelle! I scolded myself. I flopped down on a couch and started untangling the knots in my hair with my fingers. He's an obvious flirt. the voice said. You should be more nice, voice! I looked around. The sun was starting to sink. Maybe when Casimir comes back, Annabelle thought, we could horseback ride together.

(Wow! This is my first time talking with someone Italian over the internet. Haha. I live in America - so you can imagine I'm spazzing out. LOL. And Annabelle obviously thinks a lot.)

  • (I wish I was in America! Despite what you might think, Italy isn't very beautiful anymore. The streets are dirty and crowded with rude people. Rome is ten times worse. America is so much better. I wish I could go there so badly! :P :'( :D)

Casimir walked into a room and set his bag on the bottom bunk, claiming it as his. "I wonder who I'll be rooming with," He asked himself quietly, thinking out loud. Casimir changed into cargo shorts and pulled out a tight orange shirt, getting rid of his dress clothes. He preferred something a bit more loose. As he walked back out into the living area, he slid on the shirt.

  • (Oh, that's a shame. I feel so bad for you! I hope Italy get's better, as well as Rome. America isn't doing to well, though. Economy is horrible, especially where I live. Gum costs nearly three american dollars! There are tons of homeless people in my town, so, only some states are how you describe. :()

I glanced at Casimir, wondering about what horse she got. "Hey, Casimir, would you like to help me find the stables?" she asked. She pulled some strands of hair out of her face. She remembered when he said that she had a pretty face. Nearly all the girls that live in the country are pretty, I thought.

  • Casimir pulled the shirt over his abdomen and turned to Annabelle. "I heard there would be horses here," he thought out loud again. "Ah, yes. I would love to. I reserved a horse here named....what was it? Oh yeah. Percius." He walked beside her as he talked.

  • "I reserved a horse named Dowager. He looked pretty wild in the photo they gave me, so I'm excited to ride him!" I exclaimed, smiling. "It'll be much easier to explore by horseback."
