    Greystripe stared into his eyes, but he couldn't say anything. "I do love her." He said with a growl. "But you know she doesn't like me, so it doesn't matter."
    Whipping around, he stalked off

    Shadowpaw growled and ran to Lightpaw. "You need to stay away from h-" he started. Lightpaw looked at him sadly. He read her facial expression. "She cares for him?" he thought. "He is bad luck. Trust me..I know." Lightpaw growled to herself. "I am an apprentice! He is way older than me and a warrior. What do you think was going to happen? We are just friends and we will always be! Besides....I am becoming a medicine cat."

    Greystripe heard that Lightpaw was going to be a med cat, and his heart sank. "But I love her. I want a mate, and a family, and kits!"

    Shadowpaw looked at her in surprise. "Why" Lightpaw looked at her paws. "Because....If I don't you will." she started. "And I won't let you spoil your dream of having a mate and kits.....even if that means destroying mine."

    Gracepaw's ears pricked at Lightpaw's words, She was going to become a medicine cat? But how?, Gracepaw herself was already the Medicine Cat Apprentice.

    Shadowpaw laughed. "Wait, you can't become a medicine cat. There is already a apprentice." Lightpaw rolled her eyes. "Ever heard of more than one medicine cat? And besides Lepordstar already said I could. Remember?" Shadowpaw grew angry. "Oh yeah..."

    Feralclaw stepped in before things got out of hand. "All of you calm down," she hissed, "There's no need for pointless fighting among clan memebers."

    Shadowpaw looked at her angrily. "We arn't fighting. Just a conversation." Lightypaw looked at her. "That is over.." she said and turned away.

    "Hey," she growled angrily steeping on her tail, "I'm not done with you, pipsqueak."

    Leopardstar jumped infront of the commotion. "All of you are acting like kits." She growled. "I already said Lightpaw could be a medicine cat once the other med apprentice becomes a full one. Now stop fighting."

    "But you don't need to step on an apprentices tail." She pointed out. "I appreciate your help Feralclaw, but these two should handle it in their own." Leopardstar said, giving the two apprentices warning glances.
