[align=center]Hermespaw, a small black-and-white tom apprentice, had just came back from hunting when it happened.
One of his most trusted friends, Arespaw, approached him with a sly grin on his face. "Hey Hermespaw, could you follow me for a moment, please?" he asked. Hermespaw nodded and followed him without question, for the two-moons-older apprentice had always taken him under his wing. Soon, they were at the middle of the camp. Arespaw unsheathed his claws. "So, um, Arespaw, what did you did you need me for?" the tom asked questioningly. "Oh, nothing, excepts for THIS!" Ares paw quickly lept up into the air and slashed his `friend`s` stomach open, leaving a long splatter of blood. Hermespaw let out a yowl of pain before his eyes grew dark and he was gone forever.
"Cats of Thunderclan!" he called out. "I have just done this clan a great justice! I have slain a traitor to our Clan!" Aphroditeheart, Hermespaw`s mother who had stayed in the Nursery to help the kits, decided to take a walk when she saw her only child who had not died at birth, murdered with blood splattered all around his lifeless corpse. "My Baby! No!! How can this be..No!!" she yowled. "Aphroditeheart, so sorry for the loss, but your son was scum, so I was ordered to kill him." Arespaw meowed. "By WHOM?? Who ordered you to kill my only living child, WHO!?" The distraught she-cat yowled. "Why, Nightclan. They have sent me on a mission to seek out all the traitors in the clan and kill them!" He replied. "My son was no traitor,"she snarled viciously. "Was he? Oh, but did he or did he not stay in the Nursery for an extra moon instead of fulfilling his duties as an apprentice?!" He snapped back. "But you know that he witnessed his father`s death, you KNOW he was so traumatized by the deathberry-poisoned-squirrel accident that happened to Zeusstrike that Hermeskit HAD to stay in the Nursery!" Tears began streaming down the she-cat`s face. "Very well, I didn`t want to get my claws dirtier then they already are, but you leave me no choice." He tried striking the she-cat with a heavy blow but missing, as she had already fled to the leader`s den.
