Musicnotes was not a well known cat. She was a pretty black and white she cat with a few scars. She had recently lost her younger brother who passed away. She looked at the ground. She wanted someone to lean on.

Fangclaw seen the saddened she-cat and walked over to her. "Is something wrong?" He asked, cocking his head to one side.

Se sighed. "my younger brother.... He died." she said.

He flattened his ears with sadness. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." He meowed. "How did he die, if you don't mind me asking.."

A tear trickled down her cheek."we were walking far outside territory, and he told me that he heard a noise. I had heard it too, and all of the sudden a coyote jumped out. I tried to stop him, but he had to attack him. He was so stubborn." she said crying. "then the coyote...... He..... He bit..... His head off....."

Dappledflame wimpered at the she-cats sadness. "I'm so sorry." He murmered. He had nothing else to say to comfort her. What could he say? He just felt so helpless in situations such like this..

She leaned on him and whimpered.

"It's going to be alright." He meowed, softly licking her.

She looked up at him and smiled, purring.

He purred happily.

She looked down and sighed.

"whats wrong?" he asked her softly.

"I'm just still sad."

"Well that's not good." He meowed softly.

She whimpered and hung her head.

He frowned.

She sniffed."I think I keep seeing him though! I'm going crazy!" she sobbed.

"you aren't going crazy." He soothed. "You just miss him." He wrapped his tail around her flank.
