Terra held her breath. Although she didn't know any boys too well, there were a few choice ones she didn't want to be picked.

Richie sighed as he heard his family start crying in the background at the sound of his name called. He walked forward to take his place on the stage when his little sisters, two identical brown haired little girls ran up and wraped their arms around him. "No Richie! Dont go!!" one cryed while the other just nodded in agreement, tears falling down her face. Richie tryed not to cry. "Its gonna be ok ... Ill come back ... I promise ..." He whisoered and stroked back their hair before the peacekeepers pryed them away from him and he continued to the stage. He could hear then screaming and trying to fight their way back to him.

I have to make it back. I have to! For them ... Richie thought as he watched his sisters have to be held back by peacekeepers. He knew his family wouldnt make it without him.

Terra didn't remove her hands from her face, but she could hear him stepping onto the stage. She took a deep breath. Maybe if I just stand here like this, I'll disapear. Or better yet, just die here, right now.

Richie felt kinda bad that he didn't have anyone to volenteer for him but he was also relieved that he didnt have friends to take his place because he wouldnt want to see them die instead of him.
