    " Leave the clans"!!! Tortoiseleaf gasped " no we'll I just.....let me think about it ok"? she said " How about we meet again tomorrow, but for now I just want to enjoy this moment", Tortoiseleaf laid down next to Darkstorm, listening to the sound of his rhythmic breath.

    Darkstorm reconsidered, nuzzling against her.


    "Well... We could carry on meeting like this-- but maybe somewhere else? Hang on..." He thought hard, "How about we meet at the ravine, just past the Falls? I can cross the river in ThunderClan territory where it's shallow, and that would mask my scent as I pass through RiverClan! And you'd be in your own territory, with much less chance of being caught as it's not a border!"

    Tortoiseleaf looked up at Darkstorm " Yes", she said " yes that would be perfect ", she looked up at Darkstorm " Everything is perfect when your around", she said licking Darkstorm's shoulder.

    Near by in the reeds Riftfur a black Tom heard Tortoise leaf and another talking. He thought that maybe Tortoiseleaf had found someone special but was surprised to see the thunderclan cat as he waded through the reeds.


    "Tortoiseleaf what are you doing?" He whispered

    OOC: sure that's fine I guess.



    Ic: Tortoiseleaf whipped around, staring at Riftfur wide eyed." Riftfur what are you....." She paused as she noticed Riftfur staring at Darkstorm with a shocked expression on his face "Riftfur.......please don't be mad", Tortoiseleaf begged, moving closer to Darkstorm.

    "ummm, Tortoiseleaf paused " We just ran into each other on some midnight hunting that's all. I know him from some gatherings", She lied glancing at Riftfur worriedly.

    Riftfur sighed
    "you can tell me the truth Tortoiseleaf" he said "We have been friends since we were kits." He smiled kindly and let out a reassuring purr.

    Knowing what Riftfur said was the truth, Tortoiseleaf sighed and said " We've only known each other for a day or two, but I guess we sort of", she pauses " fell in love", Tortoiseleaf glanced at Riftfur "please don't be mad"! She begged

    Riftfur slowly sat down, he was stunned at first but then he understood.
    "It's okay Tortoiseleaf, i'll be here for you." He meowed

    Tortoiseleaf glanced up at her friend relived that he understood. She then turned to Darkstorm. " I guess I better go back to camp, see you tomorrow", she said padding back with Riftfur to the Riverclan camp.

    Tortoiseleaf trotted back to camp with Riftfur in silence before finally blurting out " I don't know what to do Riftfur!!!!I just love him so much, but I'm afraid someone else will find out.", her eyes welled with silence " I just wish he was Riverclan, oh why couldn't he be Riverclan"!!!!

    Riftfur licked Tortoiseleafs pelt comfortingly. It's okay we will think of something, and I will be with you the entire way.

    OOC: sry it's so short i've had low muse for like 2 days XD



    "Ok", Tortoiseleaf said thankful that Riftfur would always be there for her

    Riftfur stretched in the morning sun, the water sending glittering reflections all over the camp. He remembered the accounts of last night, and still wondered about it all. As he padded over to the fresh kill pile he saw Tortoiseleaf coming out of the warriors den.

    IC: Tortoisleaf glanced up at the sky. She couldn't bear the thought of doing patrols when her mind was so fixed on Darkstorm. She noticed Riftfur standing across the clearing and padded over to him " Hi", she said glancing at her other clanmates " I don't know how I'm going to be able to do patrols, what if I run into Darkstorm"? she asked


    OOC: i had a spazz moment XD

    Don't worry I talked to the deputy and he said that we can patrol the shadow clan borders today.
    but i need to ask you a question. Riftfur said turning around uncomfortably when are you going to see him again?

    " Thank you ", Tortoiseleaf said relived that her friend was so kind and caring. " oh and I told him I'd meet him tonight at the ravine, just past the Falls", she said "I have to go Riftfur, I just have to I can't bear to be without him", she took a deep breath "but I need to do my clan duties first I don't want anyone to become suspicious",

    "Tortoiseleaf, if you are going to leave with him ummm..." Riftfur shuffled his paw in the dirt dragging out his claw and making long lines in the dirt, "can i come with you?"
    Riftfur looked up at her his eyes happy and sad at the same time
