Nujabes stood and chased after them, Kunai lay in every mans neck.
Nujabes pulled out Shuriken, preparing for an Ambush. -
Hikaru readied some senbon, he was training to become an ANBU at the same time his sage training proceeded, and he knew the exact points for instantaneous death...
-
Suddenly a section of the halls shut behind Susume cutting her off from her friends. She gasped turning before another wall cut off the only other escape. A trap? The walls moved slowly aiming to crush Susume between them. Susume cried out putting her hands on them to try and push them back. "Gah! Hikaru! Nujabes! The walls! They're booby trapped!" she managed straining to keep the massive walls from crushing her.
-
"I have this one." Nujabes informed Hikaru.
"Earth Style: Earth's Flow Divide!" He called as the rocks slowly began to part, once to their original zones they lifted up. -
Hikaru nodded silently without a care...
-
G'night!
-
(No, don't go to bed! >:| )
-
Susume gasped as she returned to standing on her feet. Gah she fell for a trap?! She gripped her hair as frustration flooded over her. Why was she so god darn useless? She wanted to scream but, she let out a breath looking up to Nujabes and nodded a thanks. She then turned looking down the hall. "Only one way to go now..." she said flitting down the hallway. The hallway started to gain door on each side and Susume slowed as the number of them grew. It was like it was endless.
-
"I understand your frustration but please, keep your mind clear and your mind sharp." Nujabes spoke to Susume.
He looked at the doors, "This'll be a pain." He growled. -
Susume was trying to be clear but, her emotions were mix together like a poison. It was driving her mad. Susume tried to fight off the urge to just go insane. Memories were coming in floods, this seemed so familiar...the wood, the cave, the sickly masks...Susume tried to think of how she could remember somewhere she had never been. Unless...she wasn't the one remembering...her memories flooded her and she staggered bracing herself against the wall. Follow where the wings point. You'll never get lost her sister's voice...the voice of Jun Takara...filled her mind from when she was seven. She staggered to look up at the doors...the brand on her palms were imprinted on the door. They all pointed in the same direction...to a junction in the hallway.
-
Nujabes continued to observe the doors, "Do you have any idea where to go? If not you better hurry." He stressed as he continued to observe the doors, his mind raced constantly adding variables to the situation, he had a strategy for every door in his sight.
-
Susume's eyes stared at the symbol before trailing to the junction. She ran in that direction unable to use her voice. She turned a sharp right skidding a little in her frantic state. She dashed making several turns were ever the wings pointed. She finally came to a huge pair of doors. The wing symbol engraved in the stone doors. Susume removed her gloves to see her brands faintly glowing. "Here" she said bluntly not bothering to tell them how she knew...frankly...she barely knew herself.
-
Nujabes nodded weaving some hand symbols, holding the last one. "We got this, whatever is in their we'll stop it, I promise." Nujabes smiled giving her a reassuring look. He waited silently, building up Chakra for a large Jutsu. He had vowed to help Susume help her understand her self worth, and he was about to have the chance to.
-
(I'm sorry I HAVE to go to bed...I have three kittens to care for in the morning)
Susume tucked her gloves in a pouch she had. Her fists pulse with Chakra. As she closed her eyes trying to keep her mind clear. So many things in her brain were screaming things she was having trouble making out what the things were. "When You are ready she said referring to her companions...unaware the first trial...she would have to face alone...
-
"Hey let your mind flow, whatever is going on don't fight it." Nujabes patted her on the back.
(You're fine, see you tomorrow!) -
Hikaru stared at them, "This is taking too long Nujabes..." he muttered, looking at his brother with an intense brown eyed stare.
-
Susume let out a breath at Nujabes words...then looked to the ground. "I'm afraid if I let my mind flow...I'll loose my sanity....There are so many...voices I can't make out what one to listen too...one says run another says stay...one says fight...another says give up...one says protect...the other says kill...It's like the voices of my family screaming at me over and over again and I can't untangle the mass of voices to tell who I should listen to...Something is saying this is going to change everything about me...and I don't know if it's for the best...or worst...I'm....afraid...I know that pathetic...but...I am"
-
Nujabes nodded to Hikaru, a sort of 'I know' look in his eyes. "If this is going to change you we need to do this, focus on the voices that want you to stand up." Nujabes spoke sternly. With a large kick by Nujabes, the doors swung open.
-
Susume swallowed hard as the doors swung open. The room was round with a dome shaped stone roof. In the back of the room sat a desk with a tall man in a mask sat hands folded in a buisness type manner. Leaning against the desk, showing through body language an air of arrogance, was the footman in his black cloak and sickly paint mask.
"Ah! Visitors." the man behind the desk spoke with a tone of amusement "Come in. I see The target couldn't find her way here by herself...how typical."
