  • "A bloody mess you almost got yourself into!" Ally said, a bit of shakiness in her voice. The barn owl, Prim, hooted and flew to her shoulder, as if she was agreeing, "You could have died !" Her expression was as shaky as her voice, there was a small tint of worry.

  • Vince turned his head toward the wall of the compartment as he heard the words that came from the girl in the other, having never realised how thin the walls were. "That's nothing I'm not used to," he said with a proud-like tone in his voice. He clearly didn't seem to care for the well being of himself. "Besides, where's the fun in life if there's no life threatening situations?" Holding a wide smile upon his face, he laid back against the seat of the compartment.

  • "What a hole," She muttered, before sitting down again. "Prim, promise me you'll never let that happen to me? Promise you'll never let me turn into someone like him ? Prim flapped her wings a couple of times. "I'll take that as a yes," She smiled and peeked out the window. Ally sighed again.

  • A low chuckle had slipped out from between Vincent's lips as he laid there, thinking of what he should do for next year. "Well, there's more where that came from. That probably won't even be the worst of it," he mused to himself, staring up at the ceiling of the compartment. "You know," the best friend, Blaise, began, directing his words to Vince, "you should just live in the Hospital Wing." Vince had erupted in laughter at that statement, finding it to be quite humorous.

  • "Yeah, well," Vince had began, sitting up in the compartment's seat as the chuckles left him, "I'm notorious for getting hurt." He seemed rather pride of this statement, almost hinting as if he were invincible. It was quite a shock that he was in perfect condition with how many times he had broken a bone, fractured a plate, scraped the skin, cut the muscle, etc. A few ticks had passed when he heard the woman coming down with the trolley full of sweets. Vincent was quick to dig in his pockets and pull out a few knuts and sickles. He went to the compartment's door to browse through the selection.

  • Ally heard the compartments open. Probably the woman with the trolley. She reached into her pocket. Prim hooted at her viciously, "Right, right, saving it for Hogsmeade," Ally laughed, "Don't worry, Prim, I wasn't planning on it." Ally's family didn't usually have enough money for much, but they had let Ally bring her savings to Hogwarts, since 3rd years could go to Hogsmeade.

  • Gazing over the many different sweets that were being sold, Vincent had some trouble to figure out what he was going to buy. "Right. I'll have Liquourice Wands, a packet of Drooble's, some chocolate frogs, and two packs of Bertie's Flavour Beans," he told the lady, holding his hand out towards the other boys so they could also pay for the sweets.

Upon receiving the money, he drew his hand back and gave the money to the elderly woman as she handed him what he asked for. He turned around and continued to attempt to re-renter the compartment, but he was stopped as two cats came running in. "Argh!" Vince cried out as he tripped, trying to avoid stepping on either feline. He nearly fell to the floor with the sweets falling from his hands and onto the floor.

  • Seeing the cats, Prim hooted scaredly, flying around the compartment, howling like a banshee. "Prim! Get down here!" Ally shouted and tried to grab the small barn owl. She gave up and opened the compartment door. Ally was about to yell something rude, when Prim flew past her, and out of the door. The owl took one look at the monsterous beasts, and zoomed into another compartment. "Prim, you bloody coward!" She called after her bird.

  • Releasing a low groan of annoyance, Vincent brought a cold glare upon the two felines, who were currently accompanying their owners. He began to mutter bitter things under his breath as he dropped to his knees and began to pick up the sweets from the floor, placing them on the seat he had been in. His attention was averted away from the sweets and over to the yelling, curious as to what was going on. Getting up from the ground, he leaned of the compartment and looked around to get a better look.

  • "Prim!" Ally moaned one more time before giving up. The hooting owl was flying around every compartment now. A few snickers were heard throughout the crowd. Prim finally smacked into one of the windows and slid to the ground. "Prim!" Ally ran to her owl and picked her up, muttering something nasty while doing so. Almost everyone was laughing at Prim's clumsiness by now. Ally hid her face and ran in and closed the compartment door shut.

  • Grabbing ahold of a box of Every Flavour Beans, Vincent began to watch with amusement from within the hallways of the train carriage. His shining blue eyes had followed after the bird and it's owner as he released a few chortles, relishing the scene. He was dropouts to the ground as the bird had slammed into the window, his laughter increasing with volume. "Oi!" he called the attention of those still lingering out of their compartments. "That really ended with a splat!" He couldn't resist erupting into more laughter, leaning against the wall of the carriage for support.
