A pair of yellow-green eyes flashed in the bushes nearby and shortly after a blue-grey she-cat slipped out, her fur bristling slightly. She didn't attack though, as she prefered to give intruders a chance to explain. She quickly moved in front of the ThunderClan she-cat, saying nothing.

The black cat backed away, cowering in fear.

The blue-grey she-cat blinked. "In case you didn't know you're on RiverClan territory." she meowed. Her words may have sounded threatening from someone else but this she-cat's voice was steady and calm, showing no sign of aggression.

"I-i'm sorry. I-i'm just trying to find my apprentice. She is gray with amber eyes." the she-cat meowed, stuttering.

The blue she-cat flicked an ear. "Did she cross the border?" she asked.

"I don't know. I just followed her scent here then it dissapeared." said the she-cat. "I haven't seen her since last night. So I don't know if she's ok."

The blue she-cat listened carefuly. "I suppose I can help you look for her, there was a storm here alst night so her scent was likley washed away." she finally said. "But you should probobly stick near me, some of my clanmates don't take kindly to intruders." she added.

The she-cat nodded and started off on her apprentice's trial. Dreampaw...please don't be hurt! please don't be hurt! The she-cat all of a sudden seeing the blood on the ground.

Tortoiseleaf had watched the two cats, well hidden among the ferns. It looks like they'll need help, she thought slipping out of cover feeling the light ferns brush her sleek pelt. As she approached them she could see the Thunderclan warrior's pelt prickle with alarm. " Do not worry I will not harm you, she said gazing at them. " But it sounds as if you could use some help", Tortoiseleaf nodded towards the strange warrior.

The cat's fur bristles back down and the cat observes the blood. "This is my apprentice's blood. She was attacked by a Riverclan apprentice." The cat looks over the blood, "She went north."

The blue RiverClan she-cat scented the air. She quickly caught the scent of a young she-cat, but she couldn't tell if it was RiverClan, like herself, or ThunderClan. Scenting tha air again she asked "Is that her scent?"

The she-cat sniffed the air, "That's her."

The blue-furred she-cat nodded and padded forward. Scenting the air every once in awhile.

A gray she-cat with amber eyes walked towards the others, she gasped, "Sinfur!" The she-cat ran towards the black she-cat and tackled her to the ground.

The RiverClan she-cat's eyes drew back slightly, was this an attack or a joyful reunion?

Sinfur smiled, "Good to see you to Dreampaw, now get off me." Sinfur kicked her apprentice off.

The she-cat relaxed and straightened. "Did you run into any RiverClan warriors?" she asked Dreampaw.

"no" replied Dreampaw. Dreampaw nudged Sinfur, "Can we go home now?"

"Wait"! Tortoiseleaf paused to examine Dreampaw" Are you ok? Have you been hurt at all"? She said looking at Dreampaw anxiously
