Orangewing crouched, as she stalked the mouse. Her belly brushed along the forest floor. She was finding it harder to hunt now that she had to work harder to keep her paws form making noise. "Mrow!" Orangewing yowled, pouncing forward, claws unsheathed. She landed on the mouse with a thud. The mouse was dead. Orangewing carried her mouse to the fk pile. She noticed Violetpetal talking to Dawnfire. "Hi!" Orangewing mewed, padding up to her friend. She lay down to hide her own belly. (gee, for best friends, we're kinda decieving each other....)

Orangewing stared at her friend in disbelief. "How_ Wha_ How di_" Orangewing sputtered.

Violetpetal smiled. "Your stomach is swollen like mine is. My mate isn't in this Clan though..." She trailed off.

Orangewing glanced at Dawnfire. "But you're a medicine cat...!" she mewed in a hushed yet surprised voice.

Violetpetal's tail twitched. "I'm going to look after Dawnfire's kits once they're born."

Orangewing dipped her head. "Who's the father? Of Dawnfire's?"
