I am starting a new camp thread about really awesome book that i have read and will post up here for all to see.

1-Escape from furnace series, By Alexander Gordon smith

Summary: A five book series about a made up penitentiary for children under the age of 18, what goes on in the prison only the people, or monsters that live there know. Yes i said monsters, they aren't real monsters just kids that were supposed to be genetically engineered into the evil, un-human, loyal guards that have gone wrong, which are dumped into the dark recesses of furnace. What is furnace? You may ask. It was originally founded by miners or something and it is a chasm that goes miles deep into the earth and was bought by a man named you guessed it, furnace, who turned it into a penitentiary for violent children after the so called "summer of slaughter" which was when gangs in a town near furnace had an entire summer of murder. Alex, a young teenager who breaks into people's homes is on a break in with his good friend Toby, then the evil guard show up in the house and shoot Toby throwing the gun at Alex, that's how he ends up in furnace. But he and his roommate Donovan and a few others aren't planning on staying...

2-The Maze Runner trilogy, By James Dashner

Summary: A three book series set in the future after a disease known as "the flare" covered the entire earth after the solar flares came and wiped out all of community leaving most of them as "cranks" the name for people catch the disease. The world is in devastation and not going to get back up on its feet anytime soon. There is an unknown experiment going on with an organization called WICKED (World In Catastrophe Killzone Experiment Department) has taken the worlds most intelligent children across the world and put them in in institutions where they spend all their lives learning until they have gone through enough training they are sent up to the glade. The glade is a large compound the shape of a square that has four doors on each side outside those doors is a maze which is thought to be the escape for the teenagers in the Glade. The teens who live there all came up in an elevator with no memory of their past lives or the out side world, all they know is the things they studied for those years and how to eat, sleep, talk, etc... Every month a new teen is sent up to the Glade and every two weeks they get supplies, that all changes when Thomas is sent up because the very next day a girl is sent up unconscious and very sick, even stranger is that there are only boys in the Glade, and while she was unconscious for days she talked to Thomas through her mind, and he talked back. These two are the only way out for them and the Gladers and it will be bad...
