Bump with a story I wrote when I was suppose to be working on black on black

She was a young girl, most likely in her late teens, with smooth brown hair, a particularly large nose for her face (or so she thought) and sad, curious, hazel eyes that observed everything about anyone. It wasn't odd for her mother to rustle her awake, pull her from her bed. Though this was routine, it wasn't always expected of her. So, she didn't always get out of bed when her mother's firm but loving touch shook her shoulder. Instead she staid in her comfortable position, gently swatting her dearest mom away.

"Wake up!"

It was a strong order, though, if the girl was observant enough, she would realize it had the sorrow of a plea behind it.

"Wake up...!"

Now the girl heard the beg, and decided it was time to force herself from her bed. The only problem was, when she tried to roll over and face the familiar face, her body seemed to refuse.

The poor girl. If she was observant enough, she would realize her chest no longer rose and fell, and her heart was not making the throbbing beat that gave her life.

I am up!

She tried to tell her mother, but the words would not form in her mouth. The brown haired girl tried to roll over once again, but only moved when her mother pushed her onto her back.

"Please!"

Her mother begged, shaking her. The girl could feel her head loll to the side as a baby's would.

But mother, I am awake! Don't cry!

She thought desperately, trying to force the words out. What happened next surprised her greatly. Her mother scooped her up with gentle arms, but she didn't feel the fingers wrap around her. She didn't feel the warmth from her dearest mother's body. Instead, she watched helplessly as her mother carried her own body away.

The girl wanted to protest as she watched her mother take away herself, tried to even get up and go with it, but she was trapped. With a sudden realization, she noticed the lack of breathing and drumming of her heart that should have tipped her off before.

Come back mother! I am alive! I am here! Look at me...! Awake! See...?

What hopeless attempts she made, and the further away her mother took her body, the less she could understand the situation. The less she could think, until the only things going through her mind where, I am alive.

Even as she heard the subtle footsteps of her mother as she walked down the stairs, and the soft, desperate sobbing, it was no longer lucid. No longer in the realm of understanding.

A minor problem is gone over briefly, used mostly for plot bunnies more like worms and to keep a strain over the characters. Also another character introduced, the last main character for a while, for a while I mean in 2 chapters.

I'm already late in posting it, but I don't want to post until friday..
