  • The tribe lives in a forest that never stops raining. Tall trees with leaves covering almost all of the sky. Hunting and protecting each other. Joing the Tribe of Falling Rain and prove you can be one of them.

Every so often I'll let you know who's in the clan.
Please give the description, name and if they are a Stalker(hunter) or a Tree Guard.
I will choose the deputy. So just let me know if you are a Stalker or tree guard.

LEADER: Stone caught in a briar patch(Stonebriar)
Description: Gray fur and green eyes. Has a scar down her left flank from a badger.
    Deputy:None yet
    Stalkers:
    Tree Guard:

  • Name: Lynx That Stalks in Shadows
Description: Silver she-cat with darker flecks and black paws, ears, and tail tip.
Rank: Stalker (It's just a coincedence that her name has the word 'stalk' in it.

  • OOC: SUre. BIC:

Stonebriar raced through the boggy floor. Skidding to a hault by a large tree she wove her way under their roots into a camp bustling with many cats. She nodded to some and smiled at others. Then raced into her own part. Where very few cats were allowed.

  • Lynx nodded to Stonebriar and padded out of camp to hunt. She savored the familiar feeling of rain on her fur and mud under-paw. The expert stalker spotted a frog. Prey's prey, she thought, and with lightning reflexes flashed out a paw. To her satisfaction, her claws sank into flesh. Seeing no other prey Lynx picked up her catch in her teeth and began walking back to camp.

  • Stonebriar walked to the center of the tree, where one big root grew. It was the connection to thrir ancestors. Sitting down she rested her tail on the soft wood and drifted to sleep. Waking she saw her mother, Rain that falls from sky or FallingRain. "Mother, I miss you."
"I know darling. you must choose a deputy. For your time is running out."
"How will i know who to pick." Stonebriar asked confused.
"Look to the shadows where a cat stalks." FallingRain said as her figure faded and Stonebriar woke back in the little cavern.

  • Stonebriar suddenly understood who her mother ment. Walking to the center of the root system she called out, "Our ancestors have spoken, gather to hear their wisdom." Once all of the cats were gathered she took a deep breath and spoke the familiar words. "As you know our last deputy, Bird that calls from sky, was killed by the forest monster. I have learned that a new deputy will be needed very soon." Stonebriar paused not wanting to scare her tribe by saying her time was close. "FallingRain, came to me and said 'Look to the shadows where a cat stalks' I know she meant that Lynx is to be our knew deputy." Stonebriar looked at the shecat. "Do you accept the challanges that will meet you?"
OC: Does she want to become deputy? IC:

  • OOC: Yes.

IC: Lynx widened her eyes, though recovered from the shock quickly. "Yes," she meowed steadily. "I do." Excitement welled up inside her. Being the deputy was a great honor, and being chosen by her ancestors was quite a big deal.

  • Stonebriar smiled and stepped forward. Resting her muzzle on her shoulder, waiting for the responsive lick on the chin.

  • She rasped her tongue over her leader's chin, then stepped back. "I promise to do my best as deputy of the Tribe of Falling Rain, and I will devote my life to serving you in my new rank," she vowed.

  • Stonebriar smiled at her new deputy then looked over at the nursery where Fish in little pool played with her brother hawk that soars.

fish looked at her leader then at her mother Sky of Winter Storm.

  • Fish stared up at the she cat, but didn't speak.

(she can't talk, but only her mother and brother know that)

  • She whisked her tail over the kit's ears before saying concernedly, "Can you speak? Nod for yes, shake your head for no." She was beginning to catch on to why the kit never spoke.
