Dusk smiled slightly, then she nodded. "Yeah, probably." She replied.

He walked back, "So,not trying to smack you with a wall of questions or anything... Were you going anywhere specific before we ran into eachother?" HE asked as they walked.
-
Dusk shrugged, glancing down. "I was looking for my sister..." She said quietly. She doubted that her sister was still alive.
-
He glanced to her, "You know where she last was?" He asked.
-
"We were seperated by Erasers near the School." Dusk answered.
-
He was quiet for a minute.. "Let's go back then... Not today, but tomorrow maybe." He said, stopping, looking at her for signs of either approval or hesitation.
-
Dusk paused, hesitating slightly at the memory of the School, but her love for her sister over rid that. "Alright." She said with a little nod.
-
"Okay then.." He said, stepping into the cave. "Ash, come on, we are getting something to eat." He said.
--
Ash got up willingly, "Where are we going?"
--
Slate shrugged, "I dunno... Is there a nearby town?" -
"I think there is." Dusk said. She had been around this area a few times.
-
"Good, Since i can fly, i will go get it. You two stay here... What do you want?" He asked them.
--
Ash let Dusk speak first. -
"I really don't care." Dusk answered. "I guess a cheeseburger."
-
Slate grinned a bit, "That seems a bit slack. Don't have an appetite?" He turned to Ash, "I already know what you want." He said. "Be back in a few minutes. Stay with Dusk kiddo." He said before he took flight.
--
Ash looked to Dusk, "Did you sleep last night?" She asked. -
Dusk shrugged. "Sort of. Why?" She asked, sitting down and looking at Ash.
-
Ash shrugged, "I dunno..." She said.
--
Slate began to plan, he almost regretted bringing up the idea. But he wouldn't turn back now, even if he had to face the one thing he had been trying to avoid pretty much his whole life... -
Dusk looked outside the cave at the trees. She closed her eyes, enjoying the peaceful silence. It won't last for long... She thought.
-
"It never does." Ash said. After a minute her cheeks flushed a little, "Sorry, i can't help it. Sometimes i just hear it..." She said.
--
Slate began to return, carrying the food. It felt good to stretch his wings... He landed silently, handing Dusk her food, "I got you two burgers and large fries.. If you don't eat it you can later." he said, walking past her to Ash. -
Dusk looked at Ash. "Right, I forgot." She said. "She took her food. "Thanks."
-
Slate nodded, he set his food aside. He had lost the muse to eat and figured if he did it would most likely do him less good than if he were to not eat it.
--
Ash eyed Slate for a long minute, skeptical over his mood and the fact she couldn't get anything from his mind for clues. -
Dusk nibbled on some fries. She couldn't get her mind off of the fact that she was going back to the School. She had never imagined she would be going back.
-
Slate felt a cringe of pain in his head and he flinched a little.
--
Ash cocked her head to the side, eyeing him carefully
