Umbra looked at curiously. After a moment of hesitation she took his hand.

He picked her up and sprinted off

Umbra let out a little squeal of surprise. "What are you doing?" She asked.

"getting you out of here!" he laughed

"Thank you so much for asking." Umbra said sarcastically, rolling her eyes. She still smiled slightly, though.

He neared a drop off, with a cliff on the other side "hold on!"

Umbra's eyes widened. "Do not tell me you plan to jump that. Your not a supernatural creature or anything like that!"

He winked at her "Don't count on it" he lept with ease

Umbra winced, sure that they would fall. "H-How did you d-do that?" She stammered out, after he jumped it.

"You know those fairy tales with werewolves, wizards, and... Vampires? What if they were real?" he snickered

Umbra shook her head. "No, those are not real. It is not possible." She said.

He smiled "then how do you explain this?" he set her down and smiled, his fangs glinting

Umbra backed up a few steps. "Those have to be fake." She said.
