    Swiftpaw dodged a pair of fighting warriors and launched herself into the fray of the battle.
    She gasped sharply in pain as claws slashed down her side, she turned to see Stormpaw, a smoky grey tom apprentice beside her, eyes glinting.
    She threw herself at him and raked her hind claws over his back, whist pummelling at his belly with her forepaws.

    A kit with wings, flying above the cats, plummets to the ground. When she lands with a loud THUD! blood pools at her paws. It was Willowkit.
