"Come on let's go do something while the night is still young." he smiled, his bloody teeth glinting

"Okay." Bella smiled, her white teeth showing.

Coby padded around, opening doors by rearing on his hind paws and using his front to turn the knobs just like he had seen the humans do.

"So, ehat are we going to do?" Bella asked, helping him open the cages.

"We could get into the storage room and eat to our hearts content or we would break out of here. The possibilities are endless." he said softly, his accent showing boldly now.

"I have an idea. We could eat until we're full and then escape." Bella suggestes, on all fours now. She nuzzled him and padded out.

"Good Idea." he barked, unlocking the storage room to reveal piles of wet and dry food stacked on top of each other. He smirked and tore up a bag.

Bella laughed.

"Get to eating." he ordered, cracking a can open with his teeth.

Bella began to eat.

Coby ate and ate until he was beyond full. He ate triple the amount a normal dog would eat and was still hungry.

After a while, Bella sat back, full.

"Let's get out of here before moonset. The owner left the doors open again so let's do this!" he growled and pushed the door open.

Bella padded next to him.

They had made it to the highway by sunrise and Coby felt a pang of self confidence.

Bella woofed.

"We're free. What do we do now?" he asked as he found his way to a shopping center.

"Whatever you want." Bella said.

"How about we... um stay... alive?"
