Alice lurched back when Austin appeared in front of her window, then she smiled back at him.

Austin jiggle the window open.

Alice pushed the window all the way open. " Um... Hi, " she squeaked.

"Hey......Your not creep out about me being a vampire r-r-ight?" He asked.

Alice smiled at him. " Nah. Anyone who can save my life and get me home before dinner is fine by me. " she grinned at him.

Austin smile. "Good...." He looked up at her. "Could I come in?" He asked.

Alice stood up and backed away from the window. He would be in her bedroom, her messy, covered-in-various-types-of-clothing bedroom. How embarrassing. " S-sure, " she stuttered.

Austin smile and climbed in and he looked at the closed door. "Is your dad home? I don't really think he likes me." Austin rubbed his head.

Alice shook her head, then kicked a pair of underwear under her bed, hoping he hadn't noticed. " No, " her voice cracked. " No, he's working late tonight. He won't be home for another three hours, " she said.

"Good...I don't think he likes me that much....Same with h most kids and my classes..." Austin said and sat down.

Alice didn't know what to do. " I'm sorry, " she said awkwardly, empathizing. She opened her bedroom door and walked out into the living room, turning the t.v. on to fill the silence. She sat down on the loveseat, not knowing what to do.

Austin follow. "It's not there faluts it's mine....It's kinda hard for me you know. Can't really talk to anyone...Don't really know how to.." Austin kinda laugh. "Anyway..How you feeling?" Austin ask.

Alice wrapped her arms around her knees, watching his angelic face. " Fine... You? " she asked, her green eyes gazing intently into his. She couldn't seem to look away.

"Good....." Austin said. He looked at her.

A rush of blood slowly colored Alice's cheeks. But she couldn't say anything, or look away.
