  • Alice was completely unconscious. She was aware of arms around her, and the pain her wrist had left. She thought that she'd seen Austin, there to save her, but that was impossible. She was probably dead. Her head throbbed, and she thought that death shouldn't be painful. She groaned, and her eyes fluttered open. Her vision was fuzzy, as if she'd hit her head on something hard. She looked around, but that hurt her head too much and she had to close her eyes before she could take much in. She was aware of somebody breathing very close to her, cradling her body against their chest. " What.... ? " she muttered, but it was like the tunnels between her brain and mouth were clogged with cotton balls, so she just pressed her hand to her forehead and groaned again.

  • Austin looked at her. "Alice?" He said. He could smell her blood now. His eyes flash of red but he kept his self calm.

  • Alice rubbed her eyes, hoping to clear some of the grogginess. She opened her eyes again, and despite a throbbing headache, she could see clearly. She gasped. Austin's face was just inches away from hers, his breath touching her cheeks. " Austin? " she whispered.

  • She reached up to touch his face, to see if it was really him. The eyes and fangs had shocked her, but she was still mesmerized by his beauty. She knew he had saved her from that other.... creature. " You.. you saved me... " she sat up in his arms.

  • Alice wasn't able to form words for a while. " Why... Why did you save me? It's not like... like... I'm important to you or anything... " she whispered.

  • Austin grin. "I don't drink blood like other vampires do.....And your my friend.....I'm not going to let you die." Austin said. He stood up and helped her stand.

  • Alice was scowling at the word friend, hoping he didn't notice. She took his hand and stood up. She didn't know what to say, and she sorta got lost in his eyes. They were like liquid, and she couldn't form words. " Ok, I know you aren't aware of it, but you have to stop that. I can't talk to you if you dazzle me like that, " she said, thinking about how all she had to do was look in his eyes and all thoughts were wiped from her brain.

  • Austin laugh. "Ok I'll just stop looking a you." Austin looked at the sky, trying not to laugh. He just smile.

  • Alice smiled shyly and looked down, her entire face colored red. " So, I guess you have to go back to school now, huh? " she asked, looking up.

  • Alice wasn't sure how she felt, but she knew she was a little bit sad that he just wanted to be friends, but she didn't worry about it too much. " Oh. " was all she said.

  • Alice wasn't sure what to do. She decided she'd start driving her truck to and from school. Well, he only wants to be friends.... And now that I know he's a vampire... But still.... she couldn't think clearly, so she raced home.

Austin walked home and saw his sister looking out the window.

  • ooc: lolz ok.

ic: When Alice got home, she started making steaks for her dad. She decided she wouldn't tell him about what had happened that afternoon. He would either think she was crazy or he would call mom, and that would not be good. So she finished the steaks and laid them out to cool, then she went up to her room and laid down on her bed, thinking.

  • Alice could see Austin walking around out of her bedroom window. She watched him. He could probably see her, but she didn't care.
