    lily was roaming in hawk clan teritory
    when she heard paw steps

    Quickly yet smoothly, the dark-furred Reaper padded forward to stand before the stranger. With a quick glance, the maine coon scanned the she-cat, noting her appearance and health. Looking upwards once again to meet her gaze with amber orbs, he mewed roughly, "You are in HawkClan territory. Didn't you notice the markings?" Although his body language was calm, Ryko's amber eyes were glittering with excitement.

    Eaglekit was playing in camp with the others, and Cobaltfang had taken the time to distract himself out of camp. Things were strange lately with the anti-clans getting so close... Absent-mindedly, he began to walk toward the river, but then he caught an unfamiliar scent. Without another thought, he bared his teeth and stepped into th eopen where he saw the she-cat standing there.
    "Are you aware that you are trespassing? he growled, bristling at the intruder.

    Ryko took a step forward, giving his clanmate a warning hiss. "Relax, she means no harm!" Lashing his tail, the newly named Reaper continued, "That is no way to treat her. Let's learn who she is, first!"

    Cobaltfangs violet eyes flashed momentarily, but he forced himself to lower his hackles at Ryko's words, tail still lashing. Her lack of scars indicated that she probably wasn't from any anti-clan. In fact, she probably wasn't from a clan at all. Perhaps he was overreacting, or maybe Ryko was underreacting... He glanced between the two, eyeing the silver she-cat suspiciously.
    "Well, you should be more careful." he sniffed. "And what brings you here, Lily?" he added her name to the end of the question and took a small step away from his clanmate, not particularly fond of having someone so close to him.

    At the mention of rogues, Cobaltfang's tail lashed even harder. But his eyes widened a little at her story. It sounded kind of like his own story. Chased by rogues and losing a loved one to their murderous claws... He bowed his head slightly, cold eyes softened with empathy.
    "I'm so sorry to hear that..." he murmured softly.

    Cobaltfang nodded, wondering for a brief moment if there would be any reason that Lily's brother wouldn't be in Starclan. Perhaps he was an anti-clanner, or perhaps they didn't beleive that a loner could go to Starclan? No matter, he decided, flicking his tail and glancing over at Ryko.
    "Well, I suppose we can't just leave her here, can we?" he asked, hoping the reaper agreed that they should bring her back to camp with them. In most cases, he wouldn't be so hospitable to a stranger, but his empathy had softened him toward this she-cat.

    Ryko gave a nod. "We'll take her, but only if she wants too. I'm not going to force her onto anything." he reasoned. Throwing a quick glance towards Lily, he mewed, "Of course, she'd make a fine warrior." Because the loner had been through a lot, it wouldn't be hard to see her taking on the everyday duties of a warrior.
