  • "Wait...what?" Joan exclaimed in confusion, watched Sloth leave. "Is he just... leaving us? He's not going to try to finish us off or anything?"
    "Apparently not," Kenny answered.
Anzhela asked, "So, are we going to go after him, or just let him go?"
Joan paused to think before saying, "Well, if he isn't going to come after us right now, I think we should take care of ourselves first. "

  • "Well, I guess if he doesn't have anyone ordering him around, he's too lazy to do much on his own," Tess remarked, surprised but relieved that he had just wandered off. Once she was sure the homunculus wouldn't return, Tess lowered the barrier she had made around Crispin. She didn't like how pale he was, or the fact that he was still unresponsive. "Hey, Kenny," she called, "how much do you know about treating head injuries?"

  • "They're not my specialty, but I know a bit," Kenny answered as he knelt next to Crispin and examined the situation. After a moment, he remarked, "Well, he's got a concussion for sure. It seems pretty bad, so I think we should get him to a hospital as quickly as possible." After a pause, he turned to Tess and added, "Unless you know some alkahestry that will help."

  • "He's the one who would know. I mostly just know how to stop bleeding and basic things like that," she replied, shaking her head. "Can you do anything to keep him from getting any worse before we take him to the hospital?"

  • OOC: So if we're still going on with this as a fma rp and not doing our original stuff, I think Kenny could help a bit. With our version of alchemy, I don't think he could do much. Just so that's clear. I'll continue with our FMA logic, K?

    IC:
"I might be able to reduce any swelling a little," Kenny muttered to himself as he began drawing an alkahestry array in the dirt. There was a flash of light, but it didn't appear as if anything happened. The ninja announced, "That's all I can do right now."

  • "That's all we can do," Anzhela mumbled dejectedly.

OOC: Cuz I figured I needed to make her say something. :P Sorry it's lame. I have a headache and it's a little difficult to think around it.

  • After they made a stretcher, Tess let Kenny help her carry Crispin back from the woods. (I don't know.) Soon they were rushing him to the hospital, Tess anxiously watching for any sign of improvement. As they waited for the doctor to return with news, she couldn't keep herself from pacing nervously.

  • After a long, suspenseful wait, a doctor approached them. Glancing over the group, he pauses, looking just a bit confused. Then, addressing nobody in particular, he asked, "are you Crispin's family?"

  • Looking a bit relieved, the doctor nodded. "You're brother has a pretty severe head injury. He's stable, but it will probably be a while before he wakes up. We won't know the full extent of the damage until then." He paused to let this sink in and see if they had any questions. He was sure they would.

  • "It's hard to say," the doctor replied. " he has some brain damage, but what it would effect we aren't sure yet. There are many possibilities."

Ooc: I'm just making up crap XD I think thT makes sense, right?

  • Ooc: It makes enough sense.

IC: That only served to make her more anxious. "When do you think he will wake up?"

Ooc: He won't know cuz it's hard to tell with that kind of thing. Pretty much all they could say for sure is that he's stable and such. Not much of a confidence boost for poor Tess.

  • Not wanting to explain about fighting assassins and homunculi, Tess said, "We were hiking up in the woods and he hit his head falling out of a tree." She hoped that she was convincing enough.

  • "Interesting," the doctor muttered. He couldn't help but think Crispin's injury seemed like it would have taken a little more than falling from a tree to cause it. "well, I will let you know if he changes."
