    firestar herd gentlefeathers meow and instantly jumped up "what" he asked her

    firestar padded to gentlefeather "im so sorry, i didnt know you disaproved of that" he mewed apologeticly

    Gentlefeather pads back to the nursery, but before she enters she hears a strange noise off in the distance. Curious, she pads off towards the strange sound.

    firestar woke up and padded to the nursery and looked at the kits, he yawned and decided to go out hunting at the river, when he got there he saw gentlefeather walking and decided to follow,

    She traveled for over a an hour and she was starting to get hungry. She sat down and waited for prey to come out. Finally a sqrawny vole popped his little head out of a hole, Gentlefeather waited till it traveled away from its hole. The little vole ran over to a clump of moss and started searching for seeds. Gentlefeather stalked it carefully. When she was a tail-length away she pounced on the vole. It had no chance. Gentlefeather devoured the vole in three single bites.

    After she finished her meal she could barly hear the strange noise, but it was still there. She started to pick up her step. Suddenly she heard a stick crack. Her fur started to bristle. Out stepped two large toms who smelled of kittypets.

    Gentlefeather growled at them. One of the large toms snarled and batted Gentlefeather with a huge paw. Gentlefeather backed away her ears flat against her head

    Gentlefeather jumped on the toms back and started raking her claws down his back. But he threw her off as if she wasn't even there.

    firestar hissed and leaped out of the undergrothe "you rabbit dropling eaters!" firestar hissed and batted them and clawed them untill they fled "are you ok?" he asked her

    By this time the other tom was raking his sharp claws down gentlefeathers belly while the other tom held her down.

    "come with me" he directed her to the medication cat den
