Kid woke up quietly and looked around How long have I been out? Where are the others??...Why am I here? he thought looking around for anyone.

There were bandeges around his torso and the whole gang was there except for a honey blonde haired meister. They were all grieving over something. Soul was in the bed next to Kid's with bandeges all over his arms. Stein looked over at Kid, "Ah Kid you're awake"

Kid sat up slowly "Wheres Maka?" he asked not remembering a thing, his eyes slowly filled with worry.

Tsubaki looked up at Kid, tears in her eyes. "That's the problem, we don't know........ she disappeared after the explosion" she began to cry into her hands but Blackstar tried to comfort her. Stein nodded his approval, "that's correct, she was no where to be seen when the dust cleared, search parties are looking for as we speak.

Kid felt his stomach drop like on rollarcoaster rides, no...No....NO! This can't be happening! he thought then looked at his feet.

"You've been out for about 6 days, all that time we haven't been able to find her or locate her soul, its is possible that the worst has happened" Stein said, looking over the search reports.

Tsubaki continued to cry.

"She has to be out there! I know Maka! She is!" Kid said trying his best not to cry.

"Well if she is she's well hidden because we should have found her soul by now" Stein explained, "But there's a slim chance she's still alive......given she was taken by Medusa, Ekura Frog and Free the werewolf" he sighed.

"I'm going to look for her" Kid said and got up. I will kill them, all of them/

"Kid, you have to understand, youre still healing and any fast movements will make your wound open up again" Stein said, "you'll have to stay here for another week at least"

Kid grumbled and layed back down, angry. Please don't be dead Maka he thought.

Stein sighed, writing some stuff down. "Now we just need to wait till Soul wakes up"

"Lady Medusa what are you planning to do to the girl??" Ekura Frog asked.

Medusa looked back at her, "experiments of course, her soul is something that is very valuable, there's something that I have been wanting to do for awhile now" she said, mixing some sort of liquid with black blood; making it white.

Ekura frog blinked, "what might that be??"

Medusa evilly smiled, "I have discovered new functions of the Black blood, plus I've discovered a new liquid that have new affects as well" she chuckled.

Kid mummbled and stared out the window Maka..where ever you are...I'll find you he thought.

Maka heard Kid's voice in the back of her head, Kid.....help she sounded tired and weak. Her voice was soft, like she was hurt. That's when she heard the door creak open and a certain snake witch stood in the door way with a evil grin.

Kid heard Maka's voice "Maka-Chan!" he said. Maka don't let them touch you or anything! I will find you, and kill them he thought,

Stein and everyone else that was awake stared at Kid.
