Sebastian nodded to her before exiting the cave yet again, the waterfall lightly spraying a mist on his black fur that absorbed too much heat in the season of Greenleaf. The two similarly colored wolves traveled ahead for quite a bit before Sebastian slowed to a stop, scenting the air. The blood trail was much stronger here as he crept forward, careful not to disrupt the silence. The cougar was limping up ahead, not making much progress, as it seemed that the wolves were quite a ferocious bunch. "Perhaps we should finish it to make things easier..."

To be honest, Sebastian was perfectly fine with leaving an animal to die a slow and agonizing death. To him, it was just another nuisance to be rid of. He padded forward, without much caution, giving the cougar a warning snarl, still hoping he wouldn't have to do any more work than chase it away. That didn't look like the case. This cougar was still ready to put up a fight.
