    The now rather large patrol reached their destination in quite a short amount of time. Sebastian dropped the elk in the middle of the main chamber striding over to the two siblings. "Since you seem so insistent in hunting down that cougar, you may accompany us but only idiots want to get themselves killed so quickly." He dimly wondered where his beta female was and figured that she followed them back even if he did ignore her for the time being. How was he supposed to talk while dragging an elk, anyway? He would definitely bring her along seeing as she was one of their most courageous fighters.

    Once at camp, Kiyeri and Malari let go of the Elk.

    "You don't seem to mind arguing with me." Sebastian's eyes narrowed dangerously. These two br- I mean, wolves seemed to really want to get themselves killed. Honestly, if they wanted to, he could snap their necks right now but they were undoubtedly valuable additions to the pack. "It will be much easier with more wolves. Flame, would you mind accompanying us also?"

    He doubted they would need to guard the entrance so it would be safe to bring his entire pack with him to eliminate the only threat that wandered the territory. "We might as well deal with it now before it strikes." Sebastian sighed, realizing that it might be quite a busy day.

    Honestly, Sebastian had no idea what the pair were saying to each other. To be frank, he didn't really care either. His main focus right now was to eliminate the cougar still prowling about on their territory. If they weren't quick about it, some of their prey might be stolen from them seeing as the cougar hunted the same type of prey. "Right, we should be off now." He said curtly, departing from the cave.

    Sebastian turned back to his mate, Storm. "Where did you scent this cougar? We're not going to get anywhere if we don't have a lead." He stated reasonably.

    Marali and Kiyeri were watching the ground with eyes full of different emotions.


    We could've taken it, but I guess it remains a secret... for now. Malari thought.


    My brother has to think a little more before he talks. But I see where he's coming from. He didn't want to let the other wolves get injured or killed. He wanted to take the easier way. Too bad the Alpha disagreed. Kiyeri thought.

    "Near the lake. I smelled it as I was tracking the elk, it seems to have the same idea," she rumbled.

    Sebastian nodded and flicked his tail, signaling the patrol to accompany him. He proceeded in silence, intent on scenting out the cougar. Without a blood trail to follow, it was a bit harder for him to find animals. It would probably a bit easier for the other wolves to find it unless it was wounded. The black wolf lifted his nose to the air but he couldn't catch as much as a whiff of the cougar. "Pardon me for asking, but can anyone else catch a whiff of it?"

    Storm trotted ahead of the pack, sniffing the air. "Yeah, got some tracks right here and a very faint scent," she barked.

    "If you don't mind, would you like to lead?" Sebastian asked, his voice holding no emotion. He hated to admit that he couldn't scent the cougar but again, it was a bit difficult for him to track anything if it didn't have a clear blood scent. This cougar, unfortunately for him, had not been wounded at all for he could normally detect the slightest trace of blood.

    Sebastian followed right behind the Alpha Female, his tail waving in the cool breeze. He was aware of the duo's presence behind him and was a bit unnerved by their closeness. They always seemed to be carrying around some secret shared by only the two of them. He shook off the thought. It wasn't his place to pry into the lives of his packmates unless it caused the entire pack trouble. The large wolf scented the air again, this time able to catch a whiff of the cougar. He had to be quite close to finally scent it out. "Stay low." He commanded.
