Fey closed her eyes, tilting her head slightly.

Zane pulled away slowly, opening his eyes.

Fey opened her eyes as he pulled away, offering a tiny smile.

Zane smiled slight, His eyes still showing pain, but the rest happiness.

Fey gently stroked his hair with one hand, "I promise, no one will dare hurt you again." She murmured.

Zane smiled.

Fey smiled as well before she winced a bit, "There's a first aid box in the kitchen, can you get it please?"

Zane nodded and went to go grab the first aid kit and came back.

Fey waited for him patiently, "There should be some ointment and bandages."

Zane opened the first aid kit and grabbed the ointment and and bandages.

Fey sighed and held her hand out, asking silently for them.

Zane gave her the ointment and bandage.

Fey stated to take care of the gash, wincing slightly, "I heard you tear up what you were writing." She whispered.

Zane nodded and sighed.

"I'm sorry, it's my fault you did that. If I didn't say what I had said you wouldn't have had gotten upset." Fey said quietly.

"I overreacted."

Fey sighed and continued to wrap her leg, "Still, it shouldn't happened because of me."

Zane shook his head. "I shouldn't have taken it to heart."

Fey sighed softly again, "I always say or do something to upset another person. I hate it."
