Lab Rats {OPEN}

    Axel scurried around his glass cage. He would stop occasionaly to place is front paws on the clear glass wall and look around, then go back to the anxious pacing. There was a large wheel in his cage for him to run in, some food and water, and a little untouched chewing block in the corner. The humans planned to do experiments on him, to them, he was just another dumb little lab rat. There were lots of glass cages next to his, and three perfectly cut holes in each so the animals could breathe.



    (OOC: you don't have to be a rat, any other small animal is allowed. Snakes, small birds, small rodents, ect. )

    Axel stopped for a second, putting his paws onto the glass, whiskers twitchng. He saw another victim was being placed into their cage. He silently wished them luck, because here, you never know your fate. An animal could be given some small tests and then let go, while others live here their whole lives being apart of painful tests and experiments. But alot don't even survive the experiment, and if they do, they'll slowly lose sanity.

    "Your here because the humans would like to test on you," He squeaked, raising his head tords the holes in the glass so he could be heard better.

    ''this is just great one minute im flying and the next im traped in a net and put in this cage''aly said sighing as she perched on a branch in her cage

    "I'm so sorry." Axel chattered, going back to running around his cage. He scurried to his food bowl and grabbed a small seed to knaw on.

    "Three months." He admitted. "Though the humans havn't really done anything with me yet, except give me shots that have no effect on me." Axel got out of his food bowl and sat upright, looking into allys cage. His whiskers twitched.

    ''have they every took you out of the cage''aly said as someone came in a gave her a shot ''i see the shots have no affect like you said''aly said sighing as she started tweating

    Axel sighed. "They take some animals out, if they are going to be doing some huge test on them, but normally, no. They will just handle you in the cage." A female human in white walked up and carefully opened the top of axel's cage. She put her hands in, holding the black rat while she gave him a painful shot to his abdomen. She closed the cage and walked off. Axel stood up and shivered, running his paws over his head.

    "Yeah, fine." He said, swallowing. He felt weird, his brain felt fuzzy and he could hear a ringing in his ears, but then again every shot felt different. Axel jumped on the wheel and started to run, these shots always had small affects that wore off sooner or later. He had nothing to worry about.

    After running around for a bit, axel layed down on the cold cage floor, not that there was any bedding, and fell asleep.

    Axel woke up. He stood up and started walking, but felt weak and began to stumble. He fell flat on his stomach with a grunt of pain.
