Hearing some rustling and then a thud her ears pricked forward and she swung around seeing a light colored thing on the ground. Rolling her blue eyes she barked "If you two are going to follow me do it properly and if you really want me to leave you would just escort me in the flesh." Clover barked to them as she stood there impatiently.

ooc; What do you mean by 'check'?

Coal gave Kai a look that read "let me handle this" and barked a short reply. "We're fine here." He did not plan on escorting her, for it was pointless and would probably lead to small talk, which he despised. On the bright side, they didn't have to sneak around anymore. He let his paws crunch leaves freely now, and his tail was at medium height.

Shaking her pelt out a huff of air left her. Not bothering to talk back except the small annoyed look on her dark and white face. Clover couldn't help but be angry with herself for coming to this stupid territory by accident. Still quietly leading the group another noise caught her attention. Stopping right there she crouched low hearing a deep guttural sound. Growling in return she braced herself in a fighting stance. Clover felt her body loosen up as her nerves became alive ready to fight.

A bear stood a couple yards away and heard the barking of canines and wanting them off of it's property followed the noise and now challenged them. Stepping into the light for the wolves to see as the dog has already spotted her. Roaring out loud to announce its presence rose to its hind legs.

Coal's muscles tensed under his velvet black fur and a snarl formed. He knew fishing was a bad idea, especially since it involved going near the river where bears usually spent their time. This meant the bears practically thought of the river as their territory, and the wolves were a threat to their cubs.
Coal walked towards Clover and the bear, but did not move quickly so that the bear didn't feel threatened enough to charge before they could reach the dog. He prayed that Kai followed his lead.

Not moving her head to see who was coming but kept her gaze locked towards the bear not wanting to say anything or it might come out as a bark to the bear and charge possibly killing them all. Stiffening as Clover felt Coal to close for comfort. Their fur was almost touching. Blue eyes trained on the bear watching for any muscle tension or any signs of advancing.

Growling the bear stomped on his front paws making leaves fly up. Growling the bear saw the wolf slowly make its way to the dog. Taking a step forward it roared with all its might hoping to scare the canines off.

ooc; Go ahead and RP the bear if you want. It'll be a shared "Character."

Coal kept his fur from bristling as the bear tried to scare them. His adrenaline was pumping as it always did when a battle was about to occur. His paws felt anxious as they waited to be able to tear at the bear with mean claws. The bear was larger than them, possibly a a young grizzly. It was a habit of Coal's to analyze his opponent, and he reasoned that with three canines they could rough it up and make it leave, although he wasn't sure about Clover since she had lost her claws. Coal made no sudden movements. His closeness to Clover was not intentional, he was just there to fight.

As she watched Kai with wide eyes she shook her head "Stupid we could have gotten away but nooooo. He has to attack the dang thing." Growling quietly as Clover's eyes narrowed. Sighing she braced herself and ran around the bear ready to jump on it's back.

Roaring in rage as teeth sunk into it's flank rose its front paw ready to swipe Kai away with its powerful muscle. Its brown eyes filled with pain and fury.

Seeing Kai enrage it beyond belief she was nimbly trying to crawl up its back to its neck. When the bear bucked Clover couldn't help but be thrown off since she only had one paw of claws to work. As she flew through the air she landed in a very thick fir bush and broke her fall. Still feeling the ground hit her side a small yelp of pain escaped her maw. Slowly getting up as her limbs were stiff growled further padding quickly to the circling bear whose eyes were set on the annoying wolf.

Coal charged at the bears back, launching himself at the beast. His claws climbed to the bear, struggling to stay on. He couldn't get enough stillness to bits it, but the bear was temporarily distracted as Coal stuck to it like a black parasite.

Coal yowled as he was thrown off the bear's back like a shabby coat. He scraped to try and get a hold but his claws only caught strands of fur from the bear. His back ached incredibly because of the impact of his body against the forest ground. He struggled to get up, but managed to do so. He waited for the bear to become distracted so he could attack it in its blind spot.

Clover launched herself at the top of the bears chest hoping to dig into it with her teeth. Her ice blue eyes annoyed and scared as this big bear could kill her or any other wolf, but she has only one claw for defense. Growling as she scrambled quickly to the neck of the bear and bit down feeling the flesh and fur in her mouth.

Coal was breathing heavily after the battle. His back ached because of the fall, but he told himself he was fine. Ignoring Kai, he sat and licked his paw, cleaning out tufts of fur. His tail was wrapped around him, and his breathing slowed as he relaxes. His fur was no longer bristling

Being shook by the bear Clover fell to the floor with a hard thump making her ache in every nook and cranny of herself. When the bear stumbled off snapped her leg as it did so. Yelping as the pain struck her, her blue eyes went hard and wide and she choked on her own yelps. Resting her head down as she tried to contain the pain. Clover laid on her side panting heavily as she was silent wishing that this would have never happened.

Coal walked up to Clover. "Your leg is broken." he realized, eyes narrowed. He immediately knew that alone Clover wouldn't live long. She probably couldn't walk very far. His tail wagged back and forth, but mainly from anxiety and the adrenaline rush.
