  • Ariana lifted her small head to scent the air around her. There was a scent there, though luckily she saw no one. It was a border marking. Sighing she didn't dare to cross it yet, not knowing which clan she had come to by this point. The lean bodied she-cat made her way carefully next to the border, only hoping to make it out of this forest, or at best find a place to rest. Though the chances of that happening seemed slim.

Her green eyes shone brightly, reflecting the forest around them whereas her feather like tail brushed the ground lightly as she moved quickly over the forest floor.

  • A sleek Egyptian Mau slid through the forest, his eyes vacant and distant. It was clear he wasn't here in his mind. In his mind, he was somewhere else. Diamondpaw... Dia... I miss you so much Dia. It's awful here without you. Come back, come back to me. We can be mates now Dia, just as you wanted! A pant struck at Bronzeleaf's heart, closing his eyes briefly before he opened them to see a glint of light reflecting off someone's green eyes. Dia? For a brief moment, he wondered if his wish had come true but it had not. The scent was not of Thunderclan and he approached th she cat, stopping her in her tracks as h stood a foot away from her, his golden amber eyes locking onto hers. "Who are you, and what buissness do you have here?" he asked in a cool tone, his eyes betraying nothing.

  • Surprise shon brightly in the she-cat emereald depths. Though she stood her ground, recovering quickly from the surprise. The wind was blowing away from them, she would never have been able to catch his scent. She tilted her head slightly as she spoke, as if his words were not clear to her. Of course she understood every bit of it, but there was little she would do to respond. Finally she flicked her feathery tail towards the border line, as if to say she hadn't crossed it. She looked back at the tom, meeting his eyes, though she was surprise to find a brief pained look in his eyes. She briefly wondered what he was thinking of before confronting her.

  • Bronzeleaf's eyes stayed steady as his gaze rested upon her, and he noted the surprise that appeared in her eyes briefly before she recovered. His eyes followed her motions as he was about to part his maw and ask her again, as she didn't seem to comprehend it at first, but a realization dawned upon him. Perhaps the she cat couldn't speak. Perhaps she was mute. Bronzeleaf tilted his head slightly before he questioned the stranger she cat,"Are you mute?" Of course the Egyptian Mau believed she really couldn't respond using words, so he expected a nod or some action from her instead.

  • The she-cat met his gaze as he spoke, as if she had to think deeply before she responded this time. Usually se old have strugged, it was mo complicated then muteness, it was more like a wanted silence. Though or years now she had decided to just come off as mute, so what difference could it possibly make now? She sat down, her gaze leaving his as she nodded.

  • Copperclaw watched her carefully, nodding slowly in understanding. "Well then, are you here to join Thunderclan?" The tom was secretly relieved that she couldn't speak, because he hated cats that talked too much. It was annoying, and he usually couldn't even get the cats to shut up. They chattered like twittering little birds!

  • She hesitated slightly, studying the tom for a moment before letting out a muted sigh. She seemed to be debating on what to do. Finally she just shrugged, she wasn't even sure what she was doing here, she seemed to wander far to much. She looked around for a moment as if there was more she needed to say, but she could only answer his questions with movements.

  • Copperclaw sighed at her shrug, a big annoyed she couldn't just make up her mind. "When you make up your mind, I'll be here. I'm going hunting."he said, before taking off deeper into their territory to hunt

  • Ariana hesitated, shuffling from paw to paw as she gazed across the border watching the tom disapear. He was the only cat he had seen in moon that hadn't attacked her. And the fact that she knew he would leave anyway, she stepped foot across the border towards the spot she had last seen the tom.

  • Bronzeleaf's golden amber eyes flashed from place to place until they rested on a brown creature, slim tail twitching as it scavenged for food to feed itself. With glinting eyes, he pressed onwards slowly, eyes fixated on the mouse until he had come close enough to ensure a well directed pounce would end the creature's life. Smiling, the egyptian mau's hind legs left the ground as he soared in the air, and landed on the mouse. The life ebbed out of the mouse as he delivered a swift killing bite to the neck, severing the major arteries keeping that had kept it alive.

Later, Bronzeleaf seemed quite pleased with himself as he emerged from the undergrowth that he had hunted in, eyes flitting over to Ariana. He noticed she had crossed the border, but turned a blind eye towards it. She was mute after all, why should he cause more problems for her by chasing at her, or yelling at her? The Thunderclan warrior dropped his prey on the ground before snatching a finch in his jaws and tossing it towards the she cat where it slid across the ground and bumped against her paws. "I caught excess. You can have some."he grunted softly, brushing the other two pieces of prey to his side as he sat down near the green eyed she cat, across from her.

  • The surprise in her eyes was obvious for only a split moment as the tom emerged from the undergrowth before her. She wasn't use to cats returning, even after a short amount of time. He was afterall a clan cat and she had been sure he had left back to his camp maybe even to report the tiny she-cat.

She seemed to hesitate, taking a step back as the finch bumped against her small paws, and then the surprise returned to be mixed with curiosity. She was starving, true. But was she not also a loner? She had become used to being chased off terriotries, even attacked. But now that she thought back to that it was mainly around Shadowclan and even once the she-cat had made the mistake of crossing onto Bloodclans territory. Perhaps all clans were just different, or maybe it depended on the cat.

Shrugging off her deep train of thoughts, the she-cat flicked her tail towards the prey with curious eyes, only hoping the tom would understand her question.
