Highwayheights padded next to Summerpaw. "You okay?" He asked. "You seem upset..

"I'm fine, it's just that.. I'm not too fond of RiverClan.. I know I grew up here, but I wanna see the other territories! I dunno.. nevermind." The orange apprentice sniffed around. Was there anything to eat other than fish? Soon the dead fish would spoil and make the clan smell worse than it already did. -
"Well..my friend Sherlock lives in ThunderClan" Highwayheights suggested.
-
Summerpaw sighed. She was confused. RiverClan just wasn't.. right for her. Without warning, she dashed off to RiverClan camp to talk to Bearstar. It wasn't just because she walked into some tree.. if she wasn't careful she'd run into a thousand trees in ThunderClan. What about WindClan? The wind open moor.. the rabbits, eh. She did want some space, but not that much. -
Amberheart looked at the two, but didn't feel right to chime in.
-
Highwayheights sighed. If Summerpaw did leave, he'd miss her..
-
Summerpaw sighed. She couldn't just abandon her family and friends. But she wasn't happy in RiverClan..
The blind apprentice trotted over towards the river and stuck her paws into the water. -
"You okay?" Highwayheights asked.
-
Amberhaert padded up to the apprentice. "Want me to help?" She asked.
-
Clarapaw couldn't wait to hunt. Bouncing up next to Summerpaw she dabbed a paw in the cool water. "Looks so refreshing." She whispered and retrained herself from jumping into the water.
-
Amberheart saw the wanting to go into the water in her apprentice's eyes. "Go on." She whispred and then flicked her heads to the water.
-
Summerpaw gave her an unamused glare when she said 'Looks'. "Why yes, it's looks absolutely wonderful!" She snickered.
"Sorry guys. I'm movin' to ThunderClan, I'll be leaving tomorrow. Don't take this personally, but I can't stand RiverClan territory." She hit the water with her paw. -
Clarapaw looked surprised. "Why?" She asked, surprising firmness in her sweet voice.
-
"It's so.. wet." Summer yipped simply. -
Clarapaw stared at her in shock, before bursting out in laughter. "So, your going to leave your clan that you grew up in just because of some water?" She waded into the water until it brushed her chest fur. Which means it wasn't very deep. She held her cheerful tone even though it was clear that she was angry. "How un-loyal!" She started to churn her paws in the water, keeping her head above the river.
-
Summerpaw growled. "I'm a new apprentice. I'm blind and I can't stand the territory. If I'm going to use my paws to guide me, they'll have to be on something other than mud. And what use is an apprentice that can't swim?!" She frowned angrily. She didn't know who she was loyal to! She was barely an apprentice! -
Clarapaw swished out of the water. "I'm tiny, a runt, way smaller than you. There are squirrels and rabbits bigger than me." She snapped, all happiness gone. "But I'm not going to go to some tiny forest just so I feel better, I'm going to adapt. Thats what warriors do!" She stuck up her chin, noticing the fact that the top of her head came between Summerpaw's eyes and nose. "If you leave Riverclan you give up to easily, this is your first day out and you are already complaining and claiming that you are going to leave, you don't need your eyes to swim. You just need paws and the courage to do it."
-
Summerpaw shook her head. "You don't understand, and you are in no position to judge me!" She grunted. "And just so you know, I have no idea what a runt is or looks like!" She dashed off. Surely there was some crossing over the river and into ThunderClan?
It wasn't her fault if she didn't like the clan. It wasn't her fault if she couldn't adapt. Frankly she found RiverClan to be utterly boring, all they were in her eyes were fish eating mutts. That was- excluding her friends.
Eh, she didn't mind leaving her family. They were stiff and overprotective.
And they'd still meet at Gatherings, right? And not so friendly patrols.. -
Clarapaw growled, "whatever, just run away." She waded back into the water and started to paddle again. Ignoring the apprentice as she ran away.
-
Amberheart looked at the two. A growl caugh in her throat and her Pixie-bob fun started to stand on end. Thurning her attention to Clarapaw she spoke in a serious and disapproving tone. "We'll talk later." Then to Summerpaw, she spoke softly to; " This is a big desition, are you positive you want to leave you freinds and family behind? And you'll have to inform Bearstar your wishes. Or else Riverclanners like your parents might think you were stolen, or other."
