  • Mauro's jet black fur was mattered, she shuddered as she padded through the forest. The rain fell onto her pelt and she looked ahead of her, her purple collar making a small 'tinkling' noise before she finally collapsed on the hard earth below her. The slow rise and fall of her chest was the one thing showing she wasn't dead but she defiantly needed someone to help her. The Sun Clan she cat had gone off after she had heard that Sabrestar was becoming a medicine cat instead of being the leader of his clan just after he had regained leadership from Coloredstar, she never thought she would be back here but here she was - close to death but back to the one place she was born and raised.

  • Lance padded cautiously through the forest. At every sound he jumped and hissed. He constantly looked over his shoulder and his eyes were wide. He wasn't used to being beneath trees, he wasn't used to any of this land. He was a cat who had grown up around the docks and now he was here, underneath a bunch of stupid trees, in some stupid forest, trying to figure out what to stupid do.
He pushed his way through a clump of bushes that grew beside a large tree. As he emerged from the green leafy mass, he stubbed his paw on a root and he hissed in pain. He lashed his tail in frustration and pressed on. His amber eyes soon rested on an unmoving figure and he creeped forward on his belly. As he drew closer, he realized the figure was a cat and he could see the gentle rise and fall on her flank and he knew she wasn't dead. He flicked out a tabby paw and pocked her in the side, then he sprinted away and hid behind a clump of ferns. He peeked his head out and creeped forward again, he pocked her again and then hid behind the ferns. What if she attacked him?

  • Mauro just lay there, she didn't know he was poking her - she just lay unconscious. She was as beautiful as she was usually though, her short black fur was mattered and had dry blood stained on it.

  • Seeing no reaction from the she-cat, Lance padded out of the ferns and over to her. He circled around and looked at her face, out cold. He crouched beside her and gently began licking the blood out of her fur. He had no clue who this cat was, or if she'd attack him when she woke, but he felt the need to help her.

  • Mauro winced as she slowly woke up, she saw Lance and her eyes narrowed in pain "What happened?" she mewed softly, pain filling her voice as she spoke. She only knew she had fainted, other than that she couldn't remember what she was even doing here in the first place.

  • Lance shrugged. "I dunno," he took a couple of paw steps back, "I just found you here like this." He looked around, maybe this cat knew where he was! "Do you happen to know where we are?"

  • "Sun Clan, I think" she mewed, slowly managing to get to her feet. Her sides screamed out in pain as she sat down but she had to think of what to do.

  • "SunClan?" Lance screwed up his face. "What's a SunClan?" He suddenly felt very stupid. This cat had come from a complete different world, and Lance had no clue what she was from, or where he was. Where was the ocean? And the screaming sailors? Where was the heavy fish scent? And the roar of the waves sloshing against the docks? Lance was far from home. He itched at a flea beneath his ragged brown collar. "My name's Lance, by the way."

  • "Its a clan made of kittypets, the creatures that stand on there hind legs. I used to live here but our leader stepped down to become a medicine cat - a cat who is good with herbs - and another cat took over, I ran away just after that happened" she explained calmly, she had felt the same way as him when she was a house cat, she had strayed onto there territory and they had taken her in as a kit.

  • "Oh." Lance didn't fully understand, but he got the idea of it. "Well how come your leader did that? That seems a little silly in my opinion. Maybe we could convince him to go back as leader?" He suggested.
